Best $20 I’ve ever spent! I was not only surprised by how many pieces were included in this set, but the quality of each piece was amazing. I’ve been an art teacher for 25 years, and I know quality writing utensils when I see them. Just go ahead and purchase this. You won’t regret it!!!

I was starting a backyard BBQ table build and needed some grease pencils to mark where I wanted to drill holes, align various items, and scuff the metal for welding. For obvious reasons, permanent markers and graphite pencils wouldn't work, so I bought this set. The grease pencils worked well enough. The center punch went dull after the first use, so I had to use my better quality one to start pilot holes. The scribe worked well enough.The smaller pencils aren't the most comfortable to grip, but the larger ones aren't bad. They're pretty lightweight, which also makes them pretty flimsy, but for the price I wasn't expecting these to last forever.I've also used the pencils for marking cuts on vinyl siding and plywood, which they do very well.The plastic case is really flimsy and was bulging because it wasn't quite big enough to hold all of the contents.I can't seem to find the same brand name refills for the pencils in either size. I bought some other branded ones that didn't work as well, and they didn't fit perfectly in the pencil either. I had to shave them ever so slightly to get them to work. It's weird that they don't seem to make refills for their pencils.

First a dislike - it could have come with a couple of standard graphite leads.I gotta say that the carbide scriber was an unexpected treat. Very nice quality and feels good in your hand.Plenty of various colours for each size and having matching barrels makes things easier. The white really shows up on rusty steel for cutting and the red shows well on clean steel for rough layouts.In the past, I've bought Pica brand, but I would have paid the same price for a single Pica instrument. I am very pleased with this set.
