Each staff features a dragon claw holding a light up crystal ball and long 4 piece brown sticks that has an approximate overall maximum length of 49 inches. The light up ball features an off and on button located on the side. This accessory will make a great addition to your next Wizard, Witch, Sorcerer, evil queens, warlock, or other medieval fantasy character you choose. This toy easily assembles and breaks down for storage. Be sure not to over-tighten the threads. You can choose to leave out pieces of the pole in order to make the staff shorter for smaller people. Please note the stick is not perfectly straight because of the plastic threads. The item provides a unique touch to your outfit at an economic value. This item is not intended for role play or reenactments as it is only designed to be durable enough to withstand use as a handheld costume prop. Product arrived and is easy to put together. Looks like the pictures. The plastic is super cheap though. It is very weak and flimsy. The staff is not sturdy at all.You know when you were a kid and you'd buy random toys from the Dollar Tree and they were always made with that super thin, bendy, cheap plastic? This is that same cheap plastic.I ordered it for the Renaissance Fair this weekend. Too late to return and order something different. Do yourself a favor and buy something else. Very bad/cheap quality.

I often dress up as a wizard for cosplay and Halloween, and these sorts of staves that glow are perfect for that character, including Maleficent. It's relatively cheap-looking plastic though, so it may be worth painting it to weather it and look more like an ancient staff of wood. As is, up close it doesn't hold up very well, but cosplayers can alter it to make it work.

This is not worth 20 dollars. It is cheap, flimsy plastic. The plastic is not the same color section to section. Worth about $5.00 maybe. Box was open when I received it (the box was in an envelope and was already opened inside this).
