I bought this mosquito net for my son to protect him from risk of dengue fever. We have had it for three weeks now and he has not been bitten in bed since then. Installation was simple. Out of the box, the mosquito net sprung open into a tent by itself. All I did was to place it on the bed and push the mattress in through the front opening. The only complaint I have is that the instruction to fold the mosquito net back to the original package is incomprehensible. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I bought this to protect me from insects when I want to spend time alone out in my "She Shed", which is also home to a variety of crawly critters. My twin sized futon mattress fits inside it with a bit of room to spare, it's plenty high enough to sit up in wo touching the top or sides (I am 5'6"). The only thing I don't like is the random lace strip around the sides, it serves no purpose, and I'm not a girly girl who likes frilly things. I suppose it could be cut off, but I'd be afraid of ripping the protective netting where it's attached

If you've ever been to Hawaii, you know. Roaches are a fact of life. It's hot, it's humid, and unless your house is empty and hermetically sealed they'll find a way in. Normally I see one or two over the course of my annual visit to grandma's. Sometimes, a wild boar dies under the house and you see a significant increase. Either way, this last trip was the last straw. Not once, not twice, but three separate times I was assaulted while most vulnerable. While in the safety and comfort of bed. It was the third time, when a roach and I scared each other and in its fear it tried to burrow into my belly button that pushed me to make this purchase. And what a purchase it was. Light, easy to collapse and get into the bag, this was the perfect bug tent. It fits perfectly in my grandma's living room, and the single person futon fits inside with room to spare. It was tall enough where I could sit up in the middle and not hit my head but low enough that I didn't have to worry about the ceiling fan. The entrance is big enough to fit a folded up futon through and if you're gentle it can survive the constant collapsing and jostling that comes with having to put away your bedding and setting it back up every day.If you're like me and you have a completely rational fear of bugs crawling on you while you sleep, get this for the peace of mind alone. Sure, your family may laugh at you, but you know what? Bugs aren't crawling on you at night anymore!

I was looking for something like this to spend time with my gliders in. I expected it to flex some with the way it is supposed to fold up when not in use. However, even with a tiny glider in it, it flexes way too much. It is also hard to keep the bottom opened up. It serves the purpose I bought it for, but it should be at a lower price point.I will give it a few good things. The netting is decent and the zippers have held up. The size isn't bad either. Also have fun figuring out how to fold back up to put away, it is a pain in the you know where.

The one star is because I got a refund so that's a plus. I feel like I was pranked with this netting thing. It had two rips in the netting about an inch long each and the zipper was sewn in so poorly that it was about 2 inches off from one side of the zipper to the other. So the beginning of the zipper had a 1 inch hole that couldn't be closed and at the end of the zipper there was a 1 inch hole that couldn't be closed. Zipper was so poorly sewn that the start of it was unsewn already. I was shocked that a company actually took someones money for this and actually sent it to them. No way this would ever be ok. It looked like a 5 year old made it. Buyer beware.

This bug tent works awesome at keeping the bugs out! However because the material is so thin and light it rips pretty easily, and then you’ll have holes that do let bugs in. Also it’s a little hard to get a mattress in and they suggest cutting a hole in the bottom to slide a mattress through… So just be prepared for that ;)

This mosquito net works for me. Cannot complain. Zipper option is very nice and nothing bites me inside. The only problem I have, it is impossible to fold it. After I unpacked it, it unfolded automatically. Then I tried to fold it back. No matter how much I followed instruction it did not work. I did not want to damage it, bend the wire, or punch the net. So I folded it half way, stored it in the closet waiting for mosquito season. I opened it recently and the bottom does not stretch. Apparently wires are bent or do not spring. I cannot even fold it half way now without worrying about wires. I wish there was an item on the market that folds itself using a button or something, or was constructed that could be assembled like a tent where wires could be removed and stored separately. Now I don't even fold it half way. Just keep it expanded, only flatten. I guess I got what I paid for.

This pop-up mosquito net is going to be a welcome travel companion on an upcoming trip to Indonesia. Before I leave I plan to spray it with pyrethrum and when I use it I plan to secure it to the bed with Bed Bands. I have already practiced setting it up and folding it up with the help of videos on Youtube. I plan to do more practicing before I use it on my trip and will update this review on my return.****************This is my post-trip update. For lack of time I failed to spray my net with pyrethrum before I left, and things still went fine without that precaution. I most often slept on beds that were bigger than the net, and attached the corners to the hotel sheets with bed bands. Inside the net I used a sarong or my Dreamsack as a sheet along with my blow-up travel pillow inside a silk travel pillowcase. I also brought my iPad into the net with me so I could read and have an alarm clock. Having only one zipped side was OK because I could orient the zipped side to whichever side of the bed made sense. The net was difficult at first to collapse, rewind, and repack. However, after a handful of uses the wire loosened up and rewinding became easier. I was able to fit it into my medium sized suitcase, which I packed it into last. The net, zipper, and light case held up for the three-week duration of my trip, and kept me from any mosquito bites at night, even in hotels where there were no screens or AC. To keep mosquitos out of the net, I was always careful to rezip after getting up at night. I did not use this net every night of my three week trip, so I would not say it got a rigorous work-out. But it held up fine for me and I recommend it, especially at this price point.
