Perfect fit for my 2008 Saab 93 base 2.0 liter turbo model. Plugs came pre-gapped and ready to go. Works great and noticeably good difference in performance.

Shipped fast-ish. Fast for something coming from overseas anyway. I wasn't in a hurry so waiting a week or so wasn't a big deal. Fit perfect and works great. Took me maybe 30 minutes to change on my 2004 Saab 9-3 and I've never changed spark plugs before. Very easy procedure if you're at all handy.

When it comes to spark plugs in modern engines, I've found that you will get the best performance and value by using the very same make and part# plug as the factory put in when the car was built - even if they're not your "favorite brand" and even if the originals were copper plugs!With that said, I did some research and discovered that this is indeed the plug that was originally put in my newly acquired 2006 Saab 93 2.0T Sedan. While installing these plugs in my Saab, I found that the previous owner had installed Denso Platinum plugs. So it felt good to get those out and put these in.According to the Saab Factory manual (Saab WIS, as they call it), you will want to install these while the engine is stone cold and torque them down to 21 ft lbs. No need to use anti-seize on the threads.

I have a Saab 9-3 aero 2.0t 2004; was starting to notice pulls in acceleration and decreased fuel economy. Changed the plugs to these (having been told that NGK are the only plugs that should be used in Saab 9-3's) and no more hesitation, marginally better fuel economy. Super swift delivery too.

These are the exact plug installed by the factory in the Saturn ION Redlines. I got them for my 2004 QuadCoupe. It's a 2.0L supercharged 4-cylinder Saab engine. My original factory plugs lasted 172,000 miles before I changed them, so I wanted to make sure I got the exact same plug to replace them.You'll need a torx bit to take off the aluminum plate covering the coil packs - there are four screws holding it in place at the top of the engine. Unplug each coil pack one at a time from the wiring harness, remove the bolt holding the coil pack down, and just pull straight up. A standard 5/8" deep socket with a 6" extension will get the spark plugs out. I recommend doing one plug at a time, putting the old plug in the box of the new one, and writing on the box with a marker which cylinder the old plug was from. That will help you later if you want to diagnose the cylinders by the spark plug appearance (a very handy diagnostic tool - the condition of the spark plug can tell you a lot of what's going on in there).

It's been a while since I replaced spark plugs and this was my first time with the Saab. Here are some thoughts:> I purchased a Haynes Repair Manual for our Saab 9-3 (Sept 2002 to Sept 2007 (52 to 57 reg) Petrol & Diesel). This is a good idea if you plan on doing basic maintenance and repairs yourself. I could only find it on the UK site: [...]> This is a very simple task with this model car. You simply need a Torx wrench, spark plug socket, 3/8 inch socket wrench with 6 inch extension (I used a 10 inch) and a 3/8 inch torque wrench. You will probably use a 1/4 inch socket as well (for the ignition coil bolts, as they are fairly small).> Getting to the spark plugs couldn't be easier. Upon plug removal, I was pleased to see that the existing plugs were the same as my replacement plugs. After hand tightening (drive extension and spark plug socket work fine as my socket held the plug in place; had section of rubber tubing inside), I used the torque wrench to continue tightening down to 20 foot pounds (27 Nm or 240 inch pounds; per Haynes manual).> After buttoning up I started her up and took the car out on the highway for a test drive. I couldn't be happier with the spark plugs.This is definitely something you can do yourself! If you are on the fence and worried you might not be able to handle it, don't be. You'll be pleased with the result!

This spark plug worked excellent in my 2004 SAAB 93, I have tried with other brands and it didn't perform as it did with this NGK Sparks.You can really feel the difference, the horse power and the quick response at the time you need to accelerate.Excellent product, great price.
