I wouldn’t recommend it for larger grills, like a Big Green Egg. The mat might not be large enough or durable enough to handle the intense heat and weight of bigger, heavier grills.If you have a compact grill, this mat would probably be a good choice to protect your outdoor surfaces from heat, spills, and grease.

My husband was always concerned not to have our fire pit on our motorhome mat- so he wanted it at the other side of mat on the stones.We had to pull our camp chairs over to it- on a slight incline!Now with this fireproof mat it can be right up under our awning, by our chairs.We like the larger one as really covering a big area!!:)When rain or misty- we always cover the pit with this mat and it will never get rusty, etc even if awning closed!!Love it!Very good price and QUALITY made and stitched!!10 Star!!!!
