  • Helps Improve The Cooling Efficiency And Performance Of Your Air Conditioner

A professional air conditioner cleaner that effectively removes odors that other products and treatments costing hundreds of dollars can’t do. Klima Cleaner eliminates dust and pollen buildup from the evaporator core of the air conditioner system for fresh and clean air that lasts for months. To apply Klima Cleaner, first remove the air conditioner blower fan allowing full access to the intake vent which leads to the evaporator. Using the including application spray tube, apply Klima Cleaner on to the evaporator. Klima Cleaner can also be applied through the evaporator drain tube located underneath the vehicle. A clean evaporator is not only healthier but also improves cooling efficiency by allowing better air flow for colder air without as much effort placed on the air conditioning system. For best results, apply every 3-6 months and replace your cabin/pollen air filters. Attention: read instructions before using! Do not apply through the vents. We highly recommend professional application. If uncertain about application, have a certified mechanic apply.

Great evaporator cleaner. Easy to use. Foams better than others I've used. RInses, cleanly includes a long hose. A definite must to get to those hard to reach areas. I would buy again.

I recently used the Nextzett 96110515 Klima-Cleaner Air Conditioner Cleaner on a Tesla Model Y, and it has proven to be an excellent choice for maintaining the air conditioning system. This cleaner excels at thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the internal components of the air conditioner, significantly enhancing both performance and air quality.I used the entire can in two applications. It is important to ensure that the foam completely filled the enclosure and reaches every corner of the evaporator coils. After approximately 20 minutes, the foam transformed into a liquid, resembling water, and safely dripped out from beneath the car. Before reinstalling the filters, I ran the fan for an additional 20 minutes to ensure the compartment was completely dry, preventing the filters from getting wet.One of the standout features of the Nextzett Klima-Cleaner is its ease of use. The product comes in a convenient spray bottle and includes a tube, which is essential for applying it directly to the evaporator coils and other accessible parts of the air conditioning unit. The foaming action of the cleaner effectively breaks down and removes dirt, grime, and mold buildup that can accumulate over time. This not only boosts the efficiency of the air conditioner but also helps to extend its lifespan, provides a fresh, clean odor, and improves airflow by clearing any obstructions.Overall, the Nextzett Klima-Cleaner Air Conditioner Cleaner is a reliable and effective solution for anyone looking to maintain their air conditioning system. It offers a straightforward and efficient way to keep your unit clean, enhance air quality, and ensure optimal performance.

Hard to get a picture of it in action, but it worked seamlessly for my air filter clean/change on my Tesla Model Y.Once you have the old filters removed, you attach the long hose to the can, snake the hose up inside the filter housing, and spray this really dense foam to fill up the filter canister. Then, just let it sit for 10-20 minutes while it cleans and falls out under the car as a liquid. You might put a towel under the car or just know that when you are done you will have a little puddle to clean up. There is enough in the can for two uses. Has a clean scent. Works well and would purchase again for this project - it will save you considerable $$ compared to taking it in to Tesla to do. The total time to do this project should be between 30-60 minutes depending on your skillset.

Cheap hose/nozzle connection. Hold the hose on the nozzle while you use spray or else it will pop off and spray everything with cleaner.

The liquid inside is very dense and has a surprising amount giving the small bottle size

I bought both the nextzett Klima-Cleaner and the Lubegard Kool-It.The spray nozzles nozzles are actually interchangeable. The Kool-it just has a straight nozzle, whereas the Klima-Cleaner has a tri-pattern nozzle that spreads its out. I would say the spread nozzle would work if you went through the drain tube, but I preferred the straight nozzle for going through the blower fan area. You could just cut the spread nozzle, and crimp it a bit for the same results. For sure, the Klima is a better value. It says 6 oz vs 10 oz, but that is clearly not true. The Kool-it shot for like 6 seconds and the can was empty. The Klima just kept going and going. I must have filled the evaporator chamber like 4-5 times. One caveat, make sure the spray tube is ALL THE WAY inserted into the white cap. ALL THE WAY. Otherwise, it has the habit of blowing off randomly. After using both and draining, I ran the fan with the windows open for a few minutes, then the AC. It was blowing clean, cold air. No more faint mildew smells. The rest of this is vehicle specific. Kia Sportage 2018.1. Open the glove compartment. There is a clip on the outside, right side. Squeeze the clip and slid off. There are 2 knobs inside, left and right. Rotate CCW and remove. The glove compartment should drop.2. There are still two pins holding the glove compartment. Squeeze the end of the pin to free and pull out. You will need to support the glove compartment to make it easier to pull the pin.3. The cabin air filter has a cover. Squeeze the clip on the left side and slide out. Remove the cabin air filter.4. There is an undercover for the blower fan. Two recessed clips near the front you can carefully feel. Pull them toward you and you can pry down the cover. Requires a bit of strong fingers for these clips. After you free the front of the cover, there are two foam covered tabs in the back you can wiggle out.5. You can remove the blower fan with 3 philips screws. The fan plug will require pliers to squeeze the tab for removal as it is very tight.6. The blower fan was blocked by a plastic housing in the front. I removed a screw in the front, and the housing loosened enough to free the blower.7. I taped an endoscope to the spray tube, placed down a flashlight inside the blower housing facing left, and with a laptop, I was able to see inside clearly. If I was to redo, I would 3D print a holder to make the tube+endoscope more rigid so I could see deeper in and easier. Possibly also make it a right angle spray to hit the coils directly.I was able to liberally coat everything I could see, and thoroughly fill that compartment. Then wait for the foam to liquidize and repeat. I did not worry about the blower resistor as from what I can see with the endoscope, it was well protected with its position.

Now I will say, after fully looking into how to clean the a/c from germs, dust, and smell. I discovered was to go the direct route of the evaporator box or should I say, pass by the blower motor fan. I took it off and sprayed in there and left it a bit cleaner than how it looked in the start from the little footage I recorded during the evaporator cleaning process. I would say, the other route is in the bottom of the car underneath where the water comes out in the drain plug, but thinking other way is better to fully clean as that’s where the air and dust is closer to you in the vent system. The drain plug route may help clean as well, in how I might clean it too after I buy another evaporator foam cleaner but that’s to possibly help take off the gunk dirt or dust that may give a little stench from over the years in the car’s ac usage that formed from the condensation and evaporator of the water or humidity that forms. Then again might not matter as much in how the liquid water is meant to drain from that plug out of the car system. Now from what I’ll say of the usage on the foam cleaner on my Scion tC 2007 ac evaporator system is that it does have a scent of a citrus typical smell of a cleaner in general. Did not smell bad but wouldn’t recommend smelling it for more than a few minutes when spraying the foam. Also after the days the smell was still there which I liked, but some people may not which maybe best to get an air freshener but as days went on the smell became less stronger and only mild. For the couple of weeks after it still smelled in the cabin of the car, if you focused on it but it was pretty much was almost gone in smell. What is really noticeable is the cold ac is more clean or should I say, not noticeable which is GOOD/GREAT, as before typically the ac air is rougher and thicker when coming out. Now I noticed the air to be clearer and thinner; which is showing it did it’s job. In how I might have noticed it does get colder faster when turning on the ac, taking about a minute or few less than before, as before take a couple of minutes to get the cold air from the ac system. I heard it makes it possible even colder in the air coming out, which it might have not sure, as the summer California heat makes it difficult to notice the difference in that. I will say, wish it had more foam spray to clean it better and stronger or to have another run as it may need it and be better way to fully clean the air system. Suggested as basic common sense to clean the ac system with a foam cleaner every 6 months to a year or every air filter change basically, from what I read in what others say. I cleaned it in my 123k mil Scion tC 2007 doubt any previous owner cleaned it. So only reason I give it a 4 stars out of 5. The price is pretty heavy for only a 10 ounce can, others sell it for less or around same price but more foam ounces in can. The ingredients are pretty much the same thing with slightly different difference. Some do say, specifically they can be used on a car, which I prefer to buy those to be safe, the others could be used too possibly as well, as all ac evaporators in a car and house are pretty much the same. So does work in cleaning the car’s evaporator, I think, just the value for money is kind of bad.
