I replaced my trans range sensor because the shifter was getting difficult to move - common on these trucks.Upon installing this sensor I had codes for the trans range sensor, would not crank, and no PRNDL display. I made sure it was adjusted properly, no luck.Save yourself the trouble and get a genuine Toyota part.

It worked and on 10% of the Toyota OEM unit. Saved me a bunch of money . I spoke too soon it failed twice in 2 wks. Final time no P nor 3 thus no start and a AAA 10 mile tow home. Get a Denso or Bosch for 10 X the price but maybe they will work. Also the OEM connector would not securely lock onto this unit. I had to use a RTV product to keep the connector from coming loose. This was not my problem with no crank! Connector secure but no P nor 3rd indication thus no start.

Worked perfect for my 05 Toyota Tacoma I bought it to fix my stiff shifter but only time will tell how long it will last hopefully as long or longer then OEM

It actually worked like a charm in my 2008 Toyota FJ cruiser. I can move the gearshift now and say goodbye to the error code. Good luck removing the old one though, since it's probably a rusty mess. A Dremel cutting wheel will come in handy. And try spraying on a penetrant several times over a few days beforehand as well.

Transmission neutral safety switch fit my 2005 Tundra. Looked identical to the OEM part I pulled off. This part should also fit toyota sequoias around the same year as mine.
