It is as good, if not better than the ones you see for $80-90.

So far this bike leash has been a great way to get our dog further exercise. We have had a bit of a learning curve with him using it as he will pull at times. The system this uses has been working well. I absolutely love the ability to take off the pole for when I am riding without my dog. It makes the whole system worth the purchase with how convenient it is.

Have only had this a week, but so far it's working out great! Instead of me going for multiple walks a day, we go for a long one, then a couple times a day I'll run her around the block on y bike. This saves us from getting up in the middle of the night so that she can go out and patrol the yard. I was worried if she would 'take' to running with the bike, because she is a bit skittish, but she caught on immediately.

It's a good idea, and when it works it's a lot of fun. But, in less than 5 months, the threads on the metal rod wore down so it won't stay screwed into the saddle-post attachment. So now it's unusable.

This works well beware of your dog pulling to hard on your bike when riding tho.

Can’t run fast enough to exercise your dog? Try this wonderful addition to your bike and take your dog for a run! My dog loves it and after just a few rides was a pro! This is easy to put on and take off again so you can ride with or without your dog. Sturdy and provides enough length to not run your dog over and keeping your hands safely on the breaks and handlebars not hanging onto a leash. I recommend!

Fungerar bra om man fäster ett band bakom staven i ett fäste på cykel. Det fäste som finns satte jag fast på röret till sadeln och klämde så mycket som möjligt. Det finns inte en chans att fästet kan hålla mot när hunden drar.

Installed this to get my puppy some higher energy exercise than just walking. It works, he got used to it right away, but do recommend walking with your pup along it, before riding, to get them used to the big scary bike next to them. We did this for about 6 big circles in both directions before I got on it. It is good spacing for the dog to run, and the spring in the leash is great for not tugging them to hard if they stop paying attention for a minute. Only complaint is that the back of my thigh will hit the bar every pedal. Slightly uncomfortable but doesn’t effect it’s performance.

We love this thing! It’s foolproof and safe for both rider and dog! I’ll post a video later, but my 18# terrier mix has done very well in this. I go pretty slow for actual bike riding but on some stretches of our ride, he’s actually pulling me. No mishaps and all pieces have worked out perfectly. I’ve even put our other dog 22#, on it who’s never run with a bike and she does great too. Like I said, foolproof. When I don’t have a dog attached, I just connect the leash onto my bike somewhere. No problem.

Initially, I placed the bracket on the upright frame tube that the seat post fits into, and the bracket has worked loose every time I have used it, except once. My frame tube is about 35mm diameter. The bracket is a poor fit on that size tube. I am now going to try it on the actual seat post, which is a smaller diameter, and see if it works better there. The second time that I used it my dog somehow got the lead onto the bike's back tire, by crossing behind me I suppose. That destroyed the elastic bungey by stretching it past its failure point. I replaced that with a normal automotive tie-down bungey which works better. One time the lead snagged on something and ripped out the pin that attaches the lead to the tube. The lead was pulled clean out. The nylon lead did not break, but the attachment pin did. BTW, I am using this with an 8 month old standard poodle puppy, not a 200lb mastiff. So, just about everytime that I have taken my pup for a walk (5 or 6 mph at most) using my bike there has been a problem with this lead attachment adapter. My advice would be to pay more and get a better quality item. This one is relatively inexpensive but by the time you have replaced the weak and broken components it is not so inexpensive any more.
