Unfortunately I was disappointed in the sound of these compared to my stock Sennheiser cable on my HD650's. After testing multiple tracks back and forth I found these to be slightly less layered and detailed. The highs and lows were fine, just felt like it lost its layers to the music. For reference I have my HD650's running through a Schiit Vali 3 with the WE396a tube. My DAC is a Schiit Modi Multibit 2. I so wanted these to work since I don't like the feel of the hard rubber the factory cable is made with. 3 stars since they do work and seem well made. If your ears are not as analytical as mine, these might be fine for you.

When you plug them in, the headphones start making noise! I couldn’t believe it! Like for real, as soon as I plugged them in, sound started happening. Wildest experience of my life.10/10 recommend.

This cable fits my HD 600 headphones perfectly the connections are snug and a perfect fit. The cable is covered with a soft fabric like material to protect the cable. The end of the quarter inch jack has a really nice wood cover that makes it look premium and really easy to grip when your using it with your amplifier. Overall it's a nice cable it's built better than the really thin stock cable.

Cable is beautiful and works perfect with my hd650s for gaming! It’s perfect length and doesn’t get tangled at all. Huge upgrade from original cable highly recommended.

Tested this cable with the Sennheiser HD6XX from Drop.The factory cable is around 6ft, shorter than my old HD595s cables and honestly a little restricting given how I move around my desk / space.This NewFantasia replacement cable is a 10ft model and a much more familiar and practical length for me.The outer wrap of the cable is a soft braided material that feels incredibly slinky, it just falls through your hands and doesn’t get caught on itself. However, I do feel like it has more friction than the factory cable when it rubs / scrapes on my shoulder / T-shirt material. Doesn’t transmit significant vibration up the cable but it’s a weird sensation when I move my head “wrong”. Doesn’t happen a lot.The neck loop is slightly deeper than the factory cable, which is another improvement.The 3.5mm connector is threaded, so it locks into the matching 1/4” adapter, which I’m honestly annoyed the original cable didn’t have.The wood accents are nice enough but I think I want to oil them because they seem kinda dry / pale looking. Darker wood would look nicer.The only let down is the molding on the 2 prong connectors has some excess flashing / finish issues that are minor and purely cosmetic.So.. sound quality. They use silver plated OCC and, opinion seems divided; they either offer no improvement according to some or have enhanced top end according to others.In my experience, I feel like I’m hearing maybe a touch more presence in the higher frequencies, but it’s not a massive difference.What I can say with certainty is they are definitely no worse than the Drop cables, and I think I prefer them over the original.If you need a replacement cable, this should be on your shortlist to check out. If you need a longer cable, definitely consider it. If you’re looking for a better sounding cable.. this might be it.

I know many audiophiles go the other direction and get shorter cables as if they are sitting next to their headphone amp the extra cable cn get in the way. However for us recording studio nerds the extra length is great!! I can reach across so the other side of my studio workspace with this. It's great for when I'm laying down keyboard lines and not sitting directly in front of my interface and headphone amps. It is very high quality and seems to be made from great materials. The sound quality is as great, and when you consider some longer cable runs can lose a little bit of signal, I do not detect any loss in signal here. It would take longer then 10 feet to perceive this, I'm sure. So nothing to worry about there. Overall I am very happy with this and it is just what I needed. It dresses things up a bit over the stock cable as well with it's well apointed wooden bits. and built in adapter. Nothing generic here. I am grateful to have this and if you need a good cable for your HD600 series cans this is a very, very nice option.

These cables are nice looking and generally well made.I had a cable I used for 3 years that just died and I don't think that is so bad considering the hundreds of hours I used it.The walnut look very nice, and the cable does not have that rubbing noise so much for being braided.It fits snuggly into the headphones and headphones jack, and I expect at least a few hundred hours out of these as well.

If you need a long cable for your Sennheiser headphone I would recommend this cable. It looks nice and sounds good too.
