Well it's about a quarter of the price of the OEM starter. This is also a brand new unit not a remanufactured unit and it comes with a one-year warranty which is more than you can say for any retail outlet around in the US.

The starter on the Rav4 is so much easier to access than on my other family car, I am filled with gratitude for the Toyota designers. This starter fits well the 2017 Rav4 and works the same as the original, at least for starters (pun intended). Have to put some mileage on it for a final verdict, but it really feels solid and reliable, no reason for subtracting from my rating.Also worth mentioning: this was shipped overnight, arrived the very next day after ordering, before 10:00 a.m. Much appreciated, if I was in a real emergency the instant shipping would have made a world of a difference.
