These #5 mirrors that are lighter and easier hold and to work with with than the older heavy hexagon handle #4 Dental mirrors traditionally used by Dentist in the US.Note: While the #4 and #5 Dental mirrors are the same diameter, the #5 Dental mirror's handle and screw thread are a smaller diameter than the #4 Dental mirror, thus are not interchangeable.I find the #5's lighter weight and round tapered handle is a plus over the heaver #4's I have been using.

Wish I could return them- they do not fit to be used in any of my other mirror cone sockets.
