Melt blown filters are designed to hold a significant amount more dirt and particles than a pleated filter. Melt blown filters will also filter down to a much lower particle size than a pleated filter giving you a much cleaner pool without the use of chemicals.

I do not usually leave reviews for items, however these filters are AMAZING! I use my hot tub daily and these last about 2 weeks each (sometimes more)! The paper ones were needing replaced constantly. I tried washing them out using the massage jet on the shower head but they still ended up only lasting another day, if that. These ones filter out ALL the junk and last several times as long. I have not tried washing and reusing them (you should see the goop on them...gross!) although I'm sure you probably could. After seeing the gross buildup on one after 2 weeks of continuous use, I prefer to just put a new one in when the old one needs replaced. These last long and are well priced for what you get. I will absolutely continue to use them! If you're on the fence about purchasing them, all I can say is try it. They cost slightly more than paper ones but I guarantee you they are worth every cent.

These are so much better than the pleated filters go way longer in between washes and filter better. These are the way to go

These are superior to the standard paper filters in pretty much every way. The material makes for a more sealed fit in the filter housing, longer lasting and better flow through (even after weeks), and water has stayed very clean. We have an inflatable, several years now, and was always frustrated with the standard paper filters as they got dirty and reduced flow so quickly. These are far superior. The better flow also improves heating. Cleaning them is not ideal, due to the fiber material, so we just put in a new one about once a month with regular use.

These filters do a great job and last longer than paper filters. The fit is perfect and they are a decent price. The only problem is that every single time I order them they will give me a delivery date and then every single time I get a follow up notification that they are going to be 3 or 4 or 5 days delayed. It's every single time. So after this order I will be going back to paper filters.

I bought these after seeing how quickly the thin paper filters deteriorated. The difference in quality is night and day. I was able to install it easily and it fit perfectly. It worked as it should and last longer. These have saved me money and time!

These things clean way better then the paper filters. After I seen the goop that these filters have on them and what the paper ones have on them that is like night and day difference. These collect even the scum off of the water. I don't think you can clean these guys like you can the paper ones but I don't see myself going back to paper. I've still not timed how long these last but I believe it's like 2.5 to 3 weeks if I remember correctly using it daily with 1 inch chlorine tablets per filter. I aim on getting some scum top water floats soon to see if that helps extend the life of the filters.
