Easy installation and perfect fit. You will have to do an idle relearn on the vehicle after changing out the throttle body or throttle body position sensor. This has to be done with a high end diagnostic tool, the online searches told a tale of letting the vehicle relearn on its on is a myth and fairytale. I ordered the Dorman relearn device and it did nothing at all. I ended up taking my truck to my local automotive shop to have the idle relearn performed and the truck idles and runs perfectly now.

Part came with a gasket. It took ~15 min to install. I additionally purchased the Dorman gmc relearn throttle body OBDII tool ($43) and it made the relearn a cinch. Runs like new again. Mpg is slightly improved acceleration drastically improvedIt was just installed so longevity I will have to wait and see.

It fit perfectly on my 2013 Silverado with 5.3 engine. The only issue was the relearn procedure did not work fully.My original would immediately Rev to 3000 rpms on startup and stay there. You had to put it in gear and wait for it to slow enough to allow the computer to let the transmission engage. I completed the relearn procedure as I strutted and it didn't Rev on startup but it would run high when placed in park after driving. After a few weeks of driving the computer finally relearn the idle position and it works perfectly. This makes me miss carburetors.

Just put on yesterday fit perfectly. Can't speak on longevity yet. Running perfectly for now. That manual relearn did not work for me. I had to have a shop hook it to a scan tool and do it for me, that took all of 5 mins and 60$. Overall beats dealer pricing by atleast 60 % so I am satisfied.

Perfect fit, was as advertised. Some feedback says the gasket didn't come with it, I wonder if people realize the gasket is shipped over the intake housing to avoid damage, not because it belongs there.
