I am new to sewing and needed a better thread for my Brother sewing machine. It worked well. I especially appreciated the two circle diameters on the bottom. I didn't even realize that was a thing until I used a different color and the thread went flying all over the place because the bobbin couldn't seat itself. Then I looked at what made the brothread thread different and discovered the smaller circle on the bottom seated properly and kept the thread tension well.

Updated review (9/20/23): The company reached out to me and offered to replace or refund my order, they also worked with me to troubleshoot why the thread might be breaking. It is quite possible that I got a bad spool in the bunch. I will continue to use the box of thread and will update my review down the road when I have had a chance to test the other spools. I am especially impressed because they contacted me after the return window closed!Bought these because there were many reviews favorably comparing this with Sulky threads, but immediately noticed a difference in stitch out. I didn’t return as I desperately needed black thread to complete my project. The thread was constantly fraying and then breaking. Not being an inexperienced embroiderer I did change out my needle, rethread my machine, tried adjusting the tension, but continued to have issues. The finished product looks essentially the same, but as a professional I don’t have time to be rethreading my machine 2 or even 3 times during a 20 minute project. May be worth the price difference to someone who is starting out.
