At 160,000 miles, my Honda CR-V started burning oil. It began losing a quart every 5,000 miles and gradually got worse. There were no leaks or oil coming out of the exhaust. I changed the PCV valve but it didn't help. By the time the car hit 185,000 miles, it was burning a quart every 500 miles and I was about to get rid of it. I took the car to a new mechanic who suggested trying an oil change with the BG EPR cleaner followed by the MOA additiveAfter 500 miles, it was down only 1/2 quart -- same for the next 500 miles, the next, and the next. This was a decent improvement and I was happy with the results.....but still losing a quart every 1,000 miles. THEN, 3,000 MILES AFTER DOING THE BG OIL CHANGE, THE ENGINE SUDDENLY STOPPED CONSUMING ANY OIL! I haven't had to a drop in over 1,500 miles! I didn't do anything else to the vehicle and my driving habits didn't change so I attribute this to the BG products. I'm now going to use them at every oil change. If you're burning oil, give BG a try!

Great product, I would definitely recommend this for your car or truck. The only downside is not even with the product itself, I received my package with some cans damaged. They needed to package this better.

Ive used this many times but I will share my beat success story, I bought a 2010 Taurus SHO, and it had a morning timing chain rattle and I bought this as a last resort option and wow, After doing the flush with the EPR then the oil change with the MOA it helped every time I drove it. After driving it 500 miles it completely stopped rattling and fixed my issue. Its the best quality automotive additives for a great price. Now my car is running smooth again! Ooo and for the 44k can just pour that into the fuel and it will completely clean out the fuel system

Bought a 2013 Chevy Equinox 2.4L and found out it was using 1-1.5 quarts of oil a week. 210 psi even compression accross all four cylinders. PCV system was clean so that left oil leaks (no leaks) or warn/ stuck oil rings resulting from a lack of changes 😞. Was skeptical but did the 3 day Seafoam cylinder soak, then this $47.00 two step BG oil treatment following the directions. After first week it used 1.75 quarts. Second week .25 of a quart. I guess it took a week for the rings to free up. I'm a believer now. Probably do this treatment at least once every 6 months for a year, then once a year after that. You have to be strict and change your oil every 3000 - 4000 miles ( absolutely not past 5000) and only use Dexos approved synthetic oil. Also stay up on recommended maintnance for timing chain, vvt solinoids, injector/combustion chamber cleaning, pcv system cleaning and back of valve cleaning all GM direct injection engines!!!Update: 5/10/24 Was short lived. The next week was back to 3/4 to 2 quarts a week following. When you have warn neglected oil rings, you have warn neglected oil ring I guess!!

2016 Kia Optima LX fe 2.4l i4I have yet to do an actual oil change on my car as I haven't driven that much since the dealership replaced the head gasket (twice) and changed the oil. I have used the 44k, and did notice a difference in response, and a slight increase of MPG, in the future I'll use the 44k bottle vs the can though as they will be easier for use. I was explaining to my dad about what I was doing, apparently the mechanic he goes to uses BG products. Being in my 30's, I like being able to do as much of my own work as I can. Being a GDI engine with just over 100k when I got the car, it'll be interesting to see how it all works out.Reading the Q&A along with the cans, I'll probably end up doing the 44k every other oil change, MOA every change, and the EPR once a year (unless needed sooner). In the 7 months I've had the car though I've only driven it 5k. Yes, I have done a carbon clean since the fuel injectors bypass the valves, and am going to install a catch can in hopes that it will help as well.Since I've only used 1/3 of the pkg, the 5 star might be premature, but I can always update/change if needs be. And I will update/change after I use the EPR and the MOA.

I'd give it 5/5 but I should have better documented and opened up the top end to visually inspect but I'm living in a rat race πŸ€ͺI prefer to do shorter oil change intervals and use fresh oil and filter (cheap stuff) with the flush chemical and then my preferred oil and filter. All I can say is that the drained "fresh" oil is darker than with the LiquiMoly (LM) Engine Flush (EF) when I put about a teaspoon in an empty plactic water bottle and lay it sideways.Oil filter in flushed oil is clean as a whistle but for sure (LM or BG) is dislodging carbon bits too fine for the filter to trap. The BG MOA added to new oil, to me, seems quiter, smoother and better pedal response vs the LM, Hydraulic Lifter Additive, Ceratec and MoS2 used separately in subsequent oil change a with LM EF.I haven't used the 44k as I filled up before it was delivered and I have a laundry list of things to do but at this point, just the EPR and MOA will suit you very well. Can't wait to add the 44k if that makes a difference. This is my experience and YMMV. I'll be buying BG ahead of time and the extra the me and $$$ over LM is worth it to me if it'll save me $10k+ for a new engine.
