I bought this after I was attacked by my neighbor’s dog. I walk past dogs that are either not contained or have electronic fences, picket fences or are chained up. Their barking scares me. When a dog runs toward me barking and growling, I don’t want to resort to my expandable baton. This electronic device straps easily onto my non-dominant wrist and is very light and easy to hold. I click the button and the dogs know not to come any nearer. The device emits a non-harmful sound to the dogs, while also beeping so I know it works. There are two frequencies so the dogs don’t get numb to only one sound. I love the immediate response from each dog. I no longer have to fear every barking, charging dog. If he invades my sound waves, I can now warn him with a few sound waves of my own. Highly effective. Easy to charge, cute blue color, and a comfortable design for my hand to hold. I also love the strap length and the clasp to tighten the strap to my wrist. I would never leave home without my baton, but now I can give a gentle warning to every dog before it ever gets to that.

We live next to a block of units and our dog would bark when anyone was outside. We tried lots of training but nothing worked. In the end we’ve had to keep her in the house any time we went out to prevent her from causing a nuisance.I’ve only had to press the alarm 3 times in the first few days and she no longer barks. I was amazed it worked so quickly.One point I’d make is that she now appears to associate being outside with the alarm so is reluctant to spend time outside. We’re now working on playing with her in the yard to ensure she knows it’s a safe place for her.Well worth the purchase.
