We've bought and successfully used memory cards for the wii. But, this particular one does not function correctly, and I cannot recommend the product. This is a March 2015 Review for product bought in January 2015.We used this as GameCube SD cardThe wii recognizes it as corrupted and needs to be formatted. Users can reformat it and successfully use the wii. But, turn the wii off and turn it back on, you must reformat again. This constantly erases game progress (and saving game progress is the reason for the card)I will contact the manufacturer and look for a refund. I will update the review if needed after that

I sold all of my old GameCube accessories a few years back when I bought my Wii, but I just got my hands on an old copy of Rogue Squadron and needed a new GC memory card. This thing fit the bill at the right price and works flawlessly. If I had known that original Nintendo brand GC memory cards would be going for decent money, I would have waited to sell my 3 or 4 I owned back in the day!

This memory card does exactly what it's intended to do and does it well. However, when I received mine (brand new) a corner of the white plastic covering looked as if someone accidentally touched it to a hot surface and it melted. Luckily, this had no effect on how the memory card fit into the slot on my Wii or my GameCube. For the price I paid and the product I received, I am satisfied.

I ordered it and started playing gamecube games with it on my Wii. The game kept saying that the memory was corrupt and needed to be formatted, which it did successfully. But it wouldn't save ANYTHING. Terrible product do not buy. Didn't do anything at all. I might as well have not used a memory card at all because it would have done the same thing and it would have been cheaper.

You can feel it has a cheaper plastic housing but then again I didnt plan to drop it often. The main thing is that it fit the wii just fine. It stores info just fine and after 7 different games it is still working fine. Good price. I will update later good or bad.

Memory card works fine. Holds like it's supposed to for now. Notthat it's a big deal, but this card is black. It's white on the orderscreen. Not a concern but it was inaccurate. It came through the mailbut the plastic casing around it was indented in the middle, like something heavywas laid on top of it. Didn't damage the card. But perhaps it shouldhave been sent in a box? Just a suggestion. Overall, I'm satisfied with theproduct.

This product might be cheap, but its worth the buy. i mean, if you wanna buy one brand new or made by nintendo, thats fine. but the real difference between this and the "professional" ones are looks, capacity and fragility. besides that, if you dont need that much space, you're poor and you treat your memory cards well, then buy this instead of that "pro" crap.
