I got this to replace a broken connector on my 4L60E part of a harness. I just spliced the wires over one at a time. I used different splices that solder together, not the ones that came in the kit.It snaps in and will probably be fine for years. My old one only cracked because I stepped on the harness while it was out for an engine swap.
