The CS5 is a center channel speaker from NEUMITECH, designed for the budget-conscious music and movie lover who wants a simple, affordable, yet great sounding center channel speaker as part of a home theater system. Due to its passive design, the CS5 requires a separate amplifier or receiver in order to play audio from a TV, game console, or DVD/BD player. Dual 5-Inch Fiberglass Woofers With Rubber Surround: Made with a combination of rigid lightweight fiberglass cone and supple rubber surround, the CS5’s dual woofers have been tuned to offer a great balance of bass and midrange output, doing so with exceptionally low distortion at normal listening levels.
1-Inch Silk Dome Tweeter with Waveguide: The outcome of countless hours of design refinement, the CS5’s tweeter produces a smooth, extended, and predictable treble response with the help of its integrated waveguide. The result is music and movie dialogue full of accurate detail and precise imaging.
Rear Ported Enclosure: The CS5’s enclosure is designed to minimize driver spacing, reducing the effects of off-axis lobing. Its rear-ported design allow for a more compact design. The magnetic grill system eliminates unsightly mounting holes.

Nice speaker, but way bigger than I expected. It seems like good quality. The sensitivity is a little low and you have to turn the volume up a bit on the center channel. The treble is little bit quiet but if you adjust it on your receiver it sounds good. Please make one with a front port. The rear port causes issues for people with cheaper tv stands and sound bouncing off the wall. Overall the speaker is great for the price and I would buy it again. Took an insane amount of time to ship.

I buy value and quality. My home system is Polk RTi6's and two Klipsch 12" subs. This center channel is an amazing add, put a name brand on it and it would sell for well over $400. Glass fiber and Carbon Fiber cones are the best IMO. As light as paper and stiff as aluminum which offers the best blend of frequency response and bass output/handling.The enclosure is made of MDF and is fully covered with a generous blanket of polyfill inside. The crossover network is worthy of a $800 center channel, a true bandpass for the main driver and a proper high pass filter for the tweeter.Speaker tech is what it is at this point and the Name Brands will do well to start offering better priced options, as this $70 center channel will put to shame any name brand costing $600 or less.

This center speaker has the same issue as the sister Neumi BS-5 bookshelves - in that there is a resonance caused by the ports. So take a pair of socks and stuff them in the ports (not too far). I'm playing this with the BS-5s out of a cabinet (six pair of socks total) and a Klipsch 12" sub. Very pleased. Our open plan house has a ~25'x25' listening area and this center with books makes plenty of volume. I think the twin woffers of the center give significantly more base than the books. If I had to do it over I'd just use three of these center channels and forget the bookshelf model.

I have this in a large tower style Klipsh system with a Yamaha amp ( the Klipsh center speaker would not fit in the space )..so this was a bit of a punt.I am absolutely blown over by the delivery and the clarity of speech when watching movies. The performance completely matches the rest of the system.I thoroughly recommend this excellent product.Superb value for money.

This Neumi CS5 speaker arrived on time & undamaged via Amazon delivery. For TV & movie dialogue I needed something better than the Onkyo speaker this Neumi CS5 center speaker replaced. The speaker is attractive, well made & sounds terrific. I paired it with Neumi BS5 bookshelf speakers as the front left & right in my system along with a subwoofer. This makes for a great sounding movie night. At this price point this speaker is terrific. To do better you would spend double or more. Very satisfied & yes I would purchase it again.

Excelente calidad de sonido, en especial para su precio. Originalmente diseñada para usar como central en un teatro en casa, me gustó tanto que compré 3. Una para centro y otras dos para frontalea (reemplazando unas Elac Debut 5.2).
