This “ball” is too heavy to toss and sinks to the bottom. This is not a squishy soft nerf ball by any stretch. Dangerous toy for two preteen boys.

I know filling it with water is its sole purpose, but it just makes it super heavy to throw. I would pass on this.

Filling with air is more than sufficient, I'm afraid to fill this with water like how the instructions say. The material is pretty thick, so filled with water I feel like this could do some damage. Comes with fine instructions and a nice little pump. Fun for the boat, the beach or the park.

This is a really good football. Quality is great and it is easy to fill with water and fun to play with. Too cold to see how it performs in a pool, but it is a good ball on dry land too.

This Nerf water football is exactly what I've been wanting for our pool. You can fill it with water or air. With water it is heavy, so we will probably just stick with air. But I wanted it for the waterproof feature. Now the kids can play with this in the pool instead of getting the regular footballs and ruining them. Yay! Problem solved.Will be a great ball to take to the beach as well. Note: This is not a full size football. But it's not tiny either. Great for our purposes.

We just tried it over the weekend and it’s great. You can fill with water for the pool or just pump with air if you want to throw at the beach and stuff. The grip is good and easy to throw. Overall, I would recommend this ball for its fun and ease of use.
