Got this months ago and decided to write my review. I have a small business and this has been instrumental in organization and flow of the business. I have customized it to my liking :) I left out the middle shelves and supported them with the included parts. This allowed for a printer in the middle!! Excellent!!

So this is the second one of these 16 cube shelves I have ordered. The first one i got was great easy to put together. This second one i got the box is quite beat up and I'm missing g 4 legs and 4 of the connector pieces. I have reached out in hopes they will send me replacement pieces but if not I will have to return this!! I will update if or when I hear back from them.Update: They have reached out to me and want to send me the missing pieces. I changed my rating to 5 stars because I really do like this product and I am glad I will be able to use it as intended!

This is sturdier and more versatile than cheaply made wooden shelves. Lightweight but still holds a lot of weight. Great. I might purchase another set.

These were easy to assemble and look great. They are also the right size to put fabric bins in. My only complaint is I wish I could buy more parts so I could do more configurations.

Just received the unit and assembled it. When I opened the box, I saw the small mallet provided and laughed. I changed my tune after a short while. To get the corner connectors all the way in, it became useful (rather than repeatedly banging with my hand). On that note, it's not easy to get the connectors all the way in, but I suspect that will help it be sturdier in the long haul. Purchased for use against a slanted ceiling, and it fit just right. The last, tallest panel is remarkably sturdy given that it is held up by only 2 connectors. They even sent a added hook line that I wasn't expecting (see pic). They also added zip ties if you need it even more sturdy - i chose not to add them at this time. Ended up with 2 extra panels and the items in the 3rd pic above. I think it is enough to do several different layouts during the build. The panels are a rigid plastic, but don't expect a heavy item to sit level. I suspect it would stretch over time, but it would have to be pretty heavy - They are sturdy. Overall, I'm impressed (enough to write this review 😳) Good luck, and if anything changes drastically, I'll try to remember to come back and update.

Difficult to put together, directions are straightforward but the pieces are ill fitting and the cube shape gets out of square easily. The mallet provided is virtually useless and if you force the panels into the connectors too hard the transparent film cracks. It’s a fine line between putting it together and totally demolishing it.

used 12/16 cubby's to revamp my kids toy corner - worked perfectly for what i envisioned and simple enough to put together. i tweaked assembly and didn't use the feet in the bottom and used the zip ties when i ran out of circular connectors and it's still fine and sturdy - you figure it out. glad i can repurpose this and the way it is as they age and outgrow and they'll eventually make it into the closets!

I was very skeptical about these shelves.Very honest review:I've purchased three 16-cube shelves. Each has taken me about 2-3 hours to put together. I'm OCD to the extreme with this, taking close care to ensure each piece is FULLY engaged, and going back multiple times to re-engage pieces that naturally loosen because of the way the kit must be assembled. It is fairly easy, but it is a process. The kit comes with a few zip ties for OCD people like me. I used more. When fully assembled, these shelves are much more sturdy than particle board shelves.... really. They can hold more weight. They won't parallel in the same way.But... The sides are like milk-jug plastic. You can't sit anything heavy on the top, and that is very frustrating. You can't put a candle or anything around it, or it will melt. You can't ram anything sharp into it, or it will puncture. If the structure is empty, it is light, and easily toppled. When fully, you'd be surprised how unbelievably heavy it can be. Also, it can hold so much weight that you can't slide it across carpet when full...it will literally rip apart from the snapped-together pieces. That sounds drastic, but it really holds a lot of weight. I recommend setting it on top of a board if movement is a concern.I got rid of three chests of drawers and nearly trippled the amount of storage space I had in ft3, so any small inconvenience or gripe I mentioned is small in comparison to the vast gain in cheap sturdy storage.
