Several of my buddies are flying the Neo as a stock fpv racer in my backyard.The issue is that onlookers can't tell who is who as the drones are identical.Some of my friends put stickers or paint on their Neo to make them different.I didn't want to do that so I opted to add the orange battery protector.It works perfectly, and with barely any added weight I'm still competing with no issues.

I've used this battery protector for a few weeks now. Before, whenever I would have a hard crash, the battery would pop our of my drone making it and the drone hard to find.After using this and a few hard crashes later, I've had the protector detach from the drone however, the battery was protected. This protector took the brunt of the damage in that situation, but is still useable and still protecting me in case I have another hard crash. It also helps that this is orange in color, making it easier to find if it comes loose from another crash. Highly recommended.

Nothing much to critic. This product works as advertised. Form, Fit and Function (and material workmanship) are good. I mainly use this product more as a storage "protector" for the NEO without the battery loaded in the chassis. The "Orange" color (for me) reminds me load a fully charged battery...

Nice quality, fits well. Protects the landing area against dirt, rocks and debris.

I thought this came with lights to make the drone visible at night but it's literally just a plastic cover for the existing battery on the DJI neo. I like it because it is bright orange and makes the drone highly visible while in the sky. It also protects the bottom of the drone if it crash lands on its bottom.

I really wanted to like this battery protector, especially after hearing stories about Neos crashing after battery fell out in an otherwise survivable collision. This protector does its job well in securing the battery pack, however, in order to change the battery, as one would have to do often with Neo's short battery life, I had to struggle to remove this press-fit battery protector, which feels very damaging to the propeller guards as I had to grab onto something in order to pull it off.So at the end of the day, as much as I like the idea of a battery protector and its orange color, I decided to not use it due to the inconvenience in battery changes and potentially damage the Neo.
