Sturdy so it helps build confidence with the power rating, and good fit with the sockets on both ends. A little longer than i would prefer, but everything works exactly as described. Used it twice to run part of the house during hurricane aftermaths.

I have a portable generator with a 30 amp outlet and a 30 amp power cord. However, my new home has a 50 amp interlock outlet which doesn’t accept the 30 amp cord . This was perfect since it has a 30 amp male side and a 50 amp female side that plugged right into my home outlet. I plan on getting a 15,000 watt generator with a 50 amp outlet, but in the meantime, this is a perfect solution.

This thing saved my life. Ok it saved my four freezers from thawing out during an unscheduled power disruption. Before this I had less than ideal hookup from my generator to my garage. No one but me would touch it. With this I was able to have my father-in-law hook it up while I was at work. Simple and Safe. Will buy again.

I don't know why most portable generators don't come with a marine plug in but this adapter will let you plug your 50 amp shore power cord into the 30 amp RV outlet on your portable generator. Way better than just running extension cords and plugging in a few items.
