Item is well built but I found it wired incorrectly for R30-TT plug which should be 120VAC. When plugging in my surge/lightening protector the indicator lights showed 220VAC. I then confirmed with my multimeter that it is 220VAC straight through to the R30-TT which is incorrect for R30-TT which should be 120VAC. I'm not aware of a plug style using the R30-TT that should be 220VAC but if you're trying to adapt a NEMA 6-50P to TT-30R this didn't work for me.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!I bought this to connect my 50 amp welding outlet to my 30 amp travel trailer. It keeps both legs energized, which is normal for 230 50 amps, but doesn't drop one of the legs, meaning it's pumping 120volts into your RV's common line. It burned up my power center, costing me $156 to replace and about two hours of time untangling and retangling that wiring.
