I received this bag hoping it would hold my camping gear for riding this summer. I packed it with my tent, two sleeping bags, air mattress, two blow up pillows, and a backpack camping stove. Everything in the main compartment. Not only is it roomy but really impressive quality also. I'm very impressed

They thought of everything! This is the biggest they carry..that's only mentioned in their video. It has 4 tie downs adjustable & tuckabke.3 Outside pockets as well as inside mesh pockets on sides & top for dirty stuff or whatever.Has a rain cover .I had another product but really had to pack it tight when I saw my riding buddy had one of these. We went on another trip with 4 bikes (3 triglide & one bike) and Everybody has one of these but me & loved it,You can pack it low or high and it rides great! One of my buddy's takes an orange reflective vest & wrapped it around the bag right before adding final bungees and you can see him half a mile of following in the dark!I'll use my other one when I ride single but when 2 up with my lovely wife who likes her goodies will Definately bring this!My triglide rear lower trunk is about 80 percent loaded with tools & rain gear & bike cover. I also throw a bathroom bag & maybe extra shoes for hot riding. My rear is loaded with leather coats but when it gets hot so there's very little room left for clothes. This bag is a lifesaver as I have zero desire to drag around a trailer just bc I need a bit more space.Imo trailers are only warranted if camping # need tents, stoves , gear etc.

I use my motorcycle for business travel, typically making a transcontinental trip each year. Carrying laptop, sport jacket, running shoes, flip flops, dress shoes, toiletries, etc. for a multi-week trip and many thousands of miles takes some space. This case easily fits on the pillion and doesn’t crowd me. Drawback is that mounting/dismounting the motor is a little odd, requiring stepping on the peg before swinging my leg over or kicking a boot up and… well, it’s odd.Nits—there are small areas of unhemmed liner surrounding the internal hold-down strap. Seam sealer will keep the material from unraveling. The rain cover is ginormous—taking up a lot of space and making access very difficult when it's installed. I’d pay more for the waterproof zippers that are getting much more common. The interior is cavernous, and I never expect carrying 2 helmets. (Not many people want to ride 1,000 miles a day, day-after-day.) I’m going to try making partitions to keep things organized.

Wanted a big bag to take on long trips & this is the perfect size. Comparable to Harley products but a bigger bag for for less money!

I have always used HD luggage, but the new bags HD has for my top tour pack (Ultra Limited) is a lot smaller than the old bag I have. My old bag is wore out and faded. The Nelson Rigg bag is a lot bigger and is very well made. Just got back from a trip and the NRigg bag worked perfect. Easy on and off and more room, as good if not better quality. Highly recommend

This bag is top quality and would be excellent for longer motorcycle trips because of its capacity. I really liked the four straps which attach the bag securely to the luggage rack on my Harley Davidson.

This luggage bag meet all my expectations. Just finished 6k ride to Sturgis and back. Large enough for all your stuff but not too large for the tour pack. Rain cover worked well as Sturgis had lots of rain this year.

Should have more D rings for other attachments and also should have a shoulder strap…..otherwise, it is exactly what I was wanting…

Edit: Added 7/26/22 We've packed this, used it with and without it being extended, in every kind of weather. It's been yanked off a bike and thrown back on more times than I can count and we basically live out of it when we set it up in the hotel room. Still going strong and upon last inspection, not a stitch out of place, no tears or wearing. Zippers and fasteners are going strong. We've used it for about 20k miles of riding on various trips. Money well spent.Edit: ADDED 6/1 I just wanted to add this note after having returned from 3500 mile road trip. The bag was on and off the bike every night. The rain cover was put to the test. We rode 5 hours in some pretty steady rain one day and the entire pack underneath was completely dry. I can't think of a better endorsement than to tell you that we put this bag to the test in every way and it did great.I ride a '17 CVO Street Glide and I just added the tour pack with a luggage rack. I looked at the HD brand bag which was a bit more expensive, looked great, but seemed to be less. As I looked over options and reviews, this bag seemed to be a winner.I am not disappointed. It's well designed, very rugged and when I mounted it to the luggage rack, with or without the rain cover it looks great and I'm proud to put it on top of the bike.I'd considered adding a popular fastening system to make it easer to attach it to the luggage rack, but as nifty as they are, I had this on and as secure as I could hope for using the included fasteners. They put them in the perfect locations and the bag includes loops to clean up the straps once it's secured. It takes about 30 seconds to put it on the rack. It literally takes 5 seconds to take it off.I was surprised at the difference in the quality of the rain covers. I have an HD bag that I use on a luggage rack that I put on the bike when the tour pack is not on it. The included rain cover seemed adequate, but rain cover that Nelson Rig includes with this bag is impressive. Unusually thick and stout material, roomy enough to cover a full bag, and it integrates with the bag's fastening system with built in cutouts for the straps. Even the cutouts are well done in that they open to allow the strap to pass through, but still close back up for a little extra weather protection near the opening.I feel it's an insult to say "For the money this is a great bag". This is just a great bag. I could have paid more for less. No reservations in recommending it to anyone considering it as an option. I had an idea it would be good quality, but it more than exceeded my expectations.
