I was really hoping Nekton-S Multi-Vitamin for Birds would be a great addition to my bird’s diet, but it hasn’t worked well for us. Despite following the instructions carefully, I didn’t notice any positive changes in my birds' energy levels or overall health. The powder is also a bit difficult to mix with their food and doesn’t seem to dissolve properly, leading to waste. Additionally, some of my birds weren’t very keen on the taste, which made feeding time a challenge. Overall, I’m disappointed with the results and wouldn’t recommend it for those looking for a noticeable boost in their bird’s health.

I’ve used Nekton products for over twenty years and wouldn’t be without them. They’re the best quality you can get. I adopted a pretty unhealthy, dull looking amazon recently and have already noticed a huge difference in just over one month of using this.

Hello Everyone! So I do not (and have not) leave reviews on products purchased by Amazon, but for this specific product I felt as if I needed to; especially for those who are new bird owners! This product is by far my most favorite product for my little princess (she is an albino parakeet). I’m girl is beyond picky of what I give her and prefers to be on a seed diet only (trust me when I say I have tried everything including researched to get her to try and eat veggies and fruits)! Well beyond my surprise she absolutely loves (and I mean loves) her vitamin water; I was quite shocked but relieved! I have noticed that she is taking flights more often, singing, playing, shredding her toys, and occasionally back to demanding my attention. For whoever reads this review I am a new (2+ years in) bird owner and have done a whole bunch of research to provide a healthy and thriving life and if you have a feathered child who is on an only seed diet I highly suggest this product as it has worked wonders!

This is the ONLY vitamin I have found that is worth the money and time it has been used by me for birds from parakeets to amazon greys for approx 20 years. First was told about it by at a "bird club" meeting by an avian vet, he went on and on about it and so back in the day had to order from Germany directly or something crazy if the local bird shop ran out and they did frequently as this stuff is the BEST. Helps birds cope the the general stress they endure daily because well basically they are not our in the wild (I have rescue birds) so as they are easily stressed and can get ill and or feather pick, this has helped resolve many problems by getting the proper nutrition in addition to the stuff they will be picky about. If you have birds this is the least you can do for them. It is hard to get all of the nutrients they would normally get out in the wild to them with just seed, treats, and even fresh fruit and veggies...this is the needed little extra to keep them healthy or if a bird is ill get them back on track with the care, of course of your Avian Veterinary Specialist. HANDY TIP: When you open it, gently poke a few holes in the foil protective cover as I like to sprinkle this not only in water but on food as well as of course we know they don't drink all that water. So I use it on various foods and it works out very well for not only sick birds but to maintain health and not have to go down that road at all.

One of my budgies had to have a lipoma removed and he was in tough health. I could never get him fully off the seed diet (pet store keet). After the surgery he continued to have signs of what looked like liver disease...fast growing bruised beak...bruised toe nails. I thought my little guy was done for. I started putting together some liver support tinctures mixed in fruit juices and gave him a few drops each day. He improved some (beak a bit & more activity), but the discoloration of his feathers above his nose grew worse.I kept reading and even though everything pointed to liver (even the vet thought so), except for the fact that he wasn't overweight and had plenty of exercise, but the discoloration of the feathers above the cere...I read it might be vitamin A...only because people said their birds liver problems (or exhibited the same signs as mine) cleared up after an aloe detox. Well, what is aloe rich in? Turns out after a quick google...vitaimin A. However, giving vitamin A to him with liver problems seemed to be extremely dangerous. It got to the point that I had to take the risk and I bought Nekon S and mixed organic carrot juice (and other liver support amino acids and vitamins)...The feathers above his cere have cleared up. Beak growth (don't have to clip nearly as often) has slowed down and the bruising is almost gone. He's singing and happily chirping as he buzzes my head around the house. He hasn't looked this great in years and I'm not sure it was his liver after all. Thanks Nekon, I really would have missed my little guy.
