it just works. easy install. watch out for the transpose keys. example if accidently pressed, then when you press a key eg mid C the note thats activated is D. just keep an eye out for it and check with vst synths that have a keyboard. apart from that. its perfect for the price. 61 keys is the way to go

M-audio is also great. I've had one of their keyboards before and had no issues. But if I remember correctly, this one is less expensive and does just as well. Everything works as expected. Nothing necessarily sets it apart from others, it's just a very basic midi keyboard with minimal features, which I wanted, all those other buttons on fancy models you have to program and aren't really that useful.

It’s $99 so I guess that’s what it is. I thought it would be better. It really feels like cheap plastic. The dynamic response on the plastic keys are very underwhelming.. . Well, it does look cool.

I had previously purchased an extremely cheap smaller keyboard thinking it would be good to teach myself to play. Turns out I was so very wrong, the small and awkwardly stiff keys and the simple lack of more keys wound up being extremely demotivating. Now I bought this Nektar 49 key and I immediately could tell this was the one. The build quality is pretty cheap feeling but not in a way that you'll notice while actually using it because the keys themselves feel great and theres no flexing or creeking! For being a fraction of the price for any other decent midi keyboard I cannot praise it enough, I liked it so much I bought the 61 key version which I found was the perfect size for most songs I want to play. Works great in Synthesia too as shown in the pictures!

The plastic feels a little cheap, but for a ~$100 usd midi keyboad it's pretty great. Full sized keys are a huge plus for my fingers, and it works easily and didn't require anything other than a DAW (no software or firmware for the keyboard itself - just plug and play)If you're just thinking about dabbling in music with a computer and you're not sure which direction you want to go or what even you are doing, this is an invaluable piece of affordable equipment that will be used even as you grow and acquire more gear. You'll always have a need for a good keyboard.

Parfait pour un home studio basique. Le clavier est correct (toucher synthé), la dynamique est moyenne, n'espérez pas jouer du Debussy au théâtre du Chatelet, ce n'est pas un Bösendorfer : ce n'est pas le même prix ni le même poids. Excellent pour composer et enregistrer à la maison avec un programme genre Cakewalk by BandLab et des synthés virtuels. Plug and play, utilisation très simple. Bons enregistrements à toutes et à tous !

Als Midi Controller sehr gut geeignet, Tastatur zwar nicht superhochwertig, aber gut bespielbar. Ich nutze den Controller an einem Linux Laptop, der auch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist.Für den Preis mehr als empfehlenswert, bitte nur beachten, dass der Controller nur eine USB Schnittstelle hat, und keinen 5 poligen Midi Anschluss. Dies ist zwar klar beschrieben, aber muss man trotzdem wissen

This is the right choice for a home hauptwerk/ pipe organ vst setup. The keys have the right weighting. It has a super sleek design, and it's the perfect keyboard if you want to stack 2 or three of them. Does not feel cheap at all, which was also a concern before it showed up.

The Nextar SE61 MIDI controller ticked all the boxes for me. I was looking for an inexpensive but well playing MIDI controller to take on trips and use with my iPad for composing. The Nektar SE61 is simple but functional, easy to use, lightweight, USB powered, has a small footprint. Everything works as it should, all the keys, buttons and wheels. I find its keybed very playable - much better than I was expecting for this price point actually. I was torn between getting this controller or the Nextar GX61. I choose the SE61 because it was a little cheaper in price and delivery was expected sooner, and I don't regret the choice at all. I'm satisfied with this controller and recommend it. I'm looking for a carrying case for it now - may just make one.
