My workers lose these all the time. This tool is durable and very easy to use. It is as described in the description. It is the perfect length and designed well. This socket set works well and it is reasonable priced.

I've obtained a motley variety of hex bit sockets over the years, usually on a per-need basis: a differential plug here, a coolant plug there, a suspension fitting here. I wanted a set for uniformity and completion, but since these are so rarely needed by a DIY mechanic, and since I had the ones I really needed already, I didn't want to spend much. I also detest cheaply made or finished tools, so for years I just made do, not being able to justify buying a "nice" set. But for $15, or even slightly more when not on special, this set is a total no-brainer.Few skips, just metric, nicely chromed sockets, straight inserted bits, and a very nice, compact case to tuck it all away until needed. It's mostly smaller and medium sizes. What's missing? There's no 11 mm or 13 mm (not that I have ever needed one), and it stops at 14 mm. I have needed a 17 mm before, which is outside the range of this kit. But since I already have one, no complaints. Amazing quality for the price. Compared to the Pittsburgh set I looked at in person these are much, much nicer in finish quality, include 13 rather than 9 sockets, and includes a case. For the same price! (The only advantage perhaps is that the HF Pittsburgh set does include a 17 mm).

I just received these in the mail and they look and feel like top brand tools! The etching is very easy to read and they have a really nice chrome finish. They fit my ratchets and impact gun perfect, I will do a follow up review after I use them on a few jobs but I can already see that they will work perfect. I bought this brand before in different tool items and it was the same high quality. For the price you can't beat them I highly recommend this hex kit and brand to anyone who is looking for a high quality and affordable tool!

So glad I bought this kit! Comes with all sizes you will ever need in your garage.I have used and purchased a handful of Neiko tools and they always impress me with the quality.Alot of different hex allen kits i've seen have a skinnier shank where the hex goes into the socket which acts as a weakpoint and have seem some fail. These hex bits do not have a skinner shank but remain consistent all the way through. Used these for some stubborn bolts that broke lose very easily with a breaker bar, tried allen keys before and could not budge one of them even with alot of heat, penetrating fluid and rubber mallet.

This is a pretty decent set for the price. The steel seems hard enough and the fit and finish is good. The fit obviously isn't as precise as a Wiha set, but for someone who somewhat frequently needs hex bits it's great. I managed to break the 5mm bit on a stuck exhaust bung bolt, but that was probably a job for an impact wrench anyway. If you work on motorcycles a lot, you might want to consider a nicer set. These work, but if you have to apply significant torque they tend to damage the fastener heads a little. For the first few uses that is okay, but if you own a bike that constantly needs wrenching *cough italian* then you'll need to start replacing fasteners every once in a while. They definitely fit better than an equivalent Harbor Freight set.The case is decent, it holds the bits in place. They fit a little loosely which is mitigated by the little sheet of foam that comes with it. The foam is loose, but easily fixed with a piece of tape.Overall, it's a good buy! If you don't feel like throwing down for a nicer set, these are a no-brainer.

I bought these mostly for torquing bolts on bicycles. These bit sockets are high quality, and they interface well with all my hardware, a great fit. The case is sturdy, the bits lay in it nicely, and the latch is very secure. There are size labeled receptacles for each bit; the labels are consistently molded into the case, protruding .6mm from the surface, making them impossible to fade. As mentioned, the bits lay in the case, as opposed to snapping in, and so there is 3.5mm thick sheet of foam which rests over the bits, keeping them from rattling around when the case is closed. This foam sheet is loose, and so you must keep track of it, but im sure one could attach it the lid of the case if they preferred. The bits don't come loose without the foam, but they are pretty noisy. I actually prefer this over snap in receptacles because I enjoy the ease of access when I am using them, and swapping back and forth. This only bit me once so far, when clumsily backhanded the open case, sending the bits flying. This is an excellent set of hex bit sockets, with excellent performance, high quality build, and a nice case. Low price and high value, I recommend this set, and I would by them again without hesitation.
