Your cart is empty. The NEIKO 03323A crowfoot flare nut wrench set consists of high-grade Cr-Mo angle wrenches. When you need the leverage and turning power in a difficult place, these socket wrenches will get the job done. Connect to a ratchet and you can create a 90-degree angle to get at a bolt sideways. Even in the tightest and most difficult places, the torque that is applied will not change. Like a box-end or open-end wrench, attach these to other tools to achieve awkward angles and loosen fasteners easily. It’s always handy to keep a set of crowfoots in your collection especially in automotive repair or work.

Purchased this and the metric set for working on older vehicles, including cars, trucks and motorcycles, some pre-dating the all-metric standard. These are great tools for reaching into tough to get spots and turning bolts. This is my second set of SAE crowfoots, with a Kobalt set as well. The Kobalt set is a regular box-wrench head design, but the Neiko's separate themselves by having a partly closed box, meaning you can't slide directly onto the bolt or nut, but drop down on it. In really tight spaces this can be a problem, but working around grease or oil, this is a nice feature to ensure the tool stays in place and doesn't slip/fly off and require me to go through setting it back on (which when you can't see it, can be a pain).Obviously the box design means these probably aren't an end-all-be-all solution, but they are a nice compliment to traditional box head crowfoots for those times when grip and stability outweigh some of the space requirements.

There's a tool for everything, and when you need a flare nut wrench with impact capability, these are the tools for you.Used them on power steering lines that had been on the car for almost 50 years, and not a single slip or rounding occurred. The tolerances were solid and fit snugly.Used an impact [and 2 extensions, and a converter to 3/8] and some Kroil, and the lines were off the steering box in about 15 minutes where my other flare wrenches couldn't get a good hold.My proposition would be as follows:What's cheaper? A tool you can use to prevent rounding flare nuts now and in the future with relative ease, or rounding one off and having to spend hours trying to fix or replace the part? They easily pay for themselves in one use when you need em, and I'm glad I got them.(A detent would be nice, but they're still pretty great)

These appear well made with a nice finish. The small returns on the end of the wrench hold the fastener and prevent slipping. The fit seems really good. I bought these to get a O2 sensor off and the 22mm fit really well and got the job done. The case is a nice touch and is actually made of several pieces and it too has a decent feel. All in all, quite pleased and these seem like a quality tool.Little details like high quality printing on the parts, sharp, clean cut lines, the black finish, and a case that isn’t one piece blow molded with bad snaps makes for an overall good feel. They say Impact on them, but can’t see anywhere else if they are rated for impact duty. They are made with lots of material so may be.

So I wanted to change my fuel filter and the open end wrenches were beginning o strip the b-nut. Then remembering my time in the Air Force, all B-nuts that we removed we always used Flare Nut removers and so I bought this one. When buying tools one must really know the measurements as some tool kits will purposely leave out one or two and believe me, it is the one you need that they left out. So check out the kits that are thinking about and make sure they don't skip sizes. This kit is good, but it does skip one. 20mm and 23mm and maybe those are not common, but still there will be that one day.But in my opinion this kit is pretty complete compared to others out there. The case is your typical plastic, but being red in color makes sure you see it.The tools them selves are really strong. I got my filter off and they were just great and did not strip the B-nut. Putting the tubing back on once I added the new filter was a breeze. So this tool kit is one of the most complete kits out there. It is missing 2, but it is pretty complete; especially at the low numbering range.

Exactly same as store stock I viewed prior to ordering through Amazon, though the store products were $130 more. Right down to the stickers were identical on the casing. Only used once so far, but performed perfectly as expected.

This set of crowfoot came with a blow molded case which I quickly discarded and threw them all on a socket rail which worked great for organizing in the tool box. This set goes from 24mm down to 7mm (skips 23mm, 20mm). The thickness on these is enough so when they have lots of torque on them, the ears don't bend or break off. The 24,22 and 21mm are all 1/2-inch drive, while the rest are 3/8 inch drive. Overall, I have been very happy with this set and should last a very long time. Would recommend!Pros: - Thickness helps prevent any adapters from breaking pieces off - Cr-Mo high strength steel - Sizes are all well within spec - Great mat black finish with sizes laser etched into each - Organize very well on a socket railCons: - A few useful sizes skipped (23,20) - Could be more useful if they were all the same size drive

This is a terrific array of metric sizes including the difficult to find large ones, at a great price. A crowfoot wrench is sometimes the only practical generic tool to turn certain hex heads because of their location. Some, like these, have return tabs at the jaws to contact with all points of a hex nut or bolt, but these require an access in order to slip the tool over then slide onto the hex head. Others don't have the returns -- have open jaws -- so can slide right onto the hex (or older square head). I would have preferred open jaws for my application but could not find a cost effective set with the larger sizes. This one worked, but with more awkwardness getting the tool on the hex head for each small turn I could get. Return tab jaws provide better leverage or less chance of slipping off or rounding edges where hex head access is not an issue. As others have commented, the drawback of this set is that its grip on the ratchet drive or extension is tentative. In my case I immediately deployed the 24mm crowfoot with 1/2" drive to a very tight spot with limited space for the swing of the crowfoot, and the crowfoot promptly fell into the engine (and didn't hit ground). This resulted in a 40 minute find and retrieval process. The crowfoot and ratchet drive then had to be held two handed to avoid a repeat of the problem yet allow repeated repositioning of the crowfoot -- using a wobble head extension improved the grip, but it was still dicey.
