Works well and gives a great flash range. I have taken large hall gatherings in the TTL mode. Seems to not use much power as the batteries have lasted a long time. I would recommend as it is reasonably priced and does what I need as an experienced photographer.

Easy to use:Before I get to the issues I had, I want to say that the speedlite was super fun to use. As a photographer, this item was easy to get setup and just start using. When the product was working - it did a great job!My issue:After using this item for sometime, the battery door started not to shut. A gap has formed somehow between the door and unit. I keep my equipment in my bag or put up in a safe place. It just started to happen after 6 months of using it. It was a bit annoying but I worked around it.Today, the battery door broke into two pieces. It looks like the glue that held it together melted (I keep my equipment, unless on a shoot, in a very constant temperature-controlled environment. I am not sure how this happened, and I have never had this issue before.Again, Neewer made a nice product that is easy & fun to use. The build quality is the only issue that has made the item a bit useless at this point.I will continue to use Neewer products but might hesitate on bigger items.

bought a “Neewer NW-670 TTL Flash Speedlite” last year. It's the second one I'm going to use, however, the battery cover is broken, leaving several small pieces. It's very sad, because it would be the second time I was going to use it, but there's no way, because the battery compartment doesn't close at all.

Works well. Just be careful leaving the nut all the way up or down, it can get stuck.Decent substitute for the expensive brands. TTL is always accurate.

This is a very nice speedlite! It's E-TTL 2 compatible. I have been using it in fully automatic mode and it gets the job done beautifully. It's very simple and easy to use in that mode. I have experimented with continuous shooting with flash and the flash works very well in that mode. Once or twice it wouldn't turn on and I simply opened and firmly closed the battery compartment to fix the situation with no further problem. It can focus in the dark with the built in infrared emitter focus assist...my T6i cannot focus in near total darkness on it's own. As for Flash Exposure Bracketing, like AEB but the flash is doing the f-stop flash exposure adjustments rather than the camera setting the camera exposures, I get mixed results on that. Sometimes it "seems" as though it actually works and other times it's obvious it didn't. When I set FEB it doesn't actually show up in the settings that I actually made a flash setting on FEB, even though sometimes it "seems" like the 3 flashes are correctly set for -1, 0, +1 EV exposures. I'm not done experimenting in this area so these results are inconclusive at this time.Continuous flash also works quit well giving a stroboscopic effect to continuous shots. The built in clear plastic light diffusion does a decent job of softening the light on the subject. I like the auto zoom feature which adjusts as you zoom the camera lens in and out. It helps keep the most light where it is most needed and also gives the speedlite a greater flash to subject distance it can be effectively used.It comes with a simple black nylon bag with drawstring. I don't use it. I bought a 3 pack of neoprene lens carrying pouches. The middle size pouch is for my lens, the smaller for my Movo external mic, the larger size fits this speedlite perfectly.Looking at the bottom of the hot shoe, all the pins are present and in the correct configuration for the Rebel T6i. I like the great cost-to-quality ratio...low cost-high quality. Love the low price compared to an actual Canon speedlite. Overall I really like this flash and am very pleased with it, glad I got it because it has been doing a great job for me. No real problems that I've experienced with it so far. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking for a good low cost speedlite to add to their photo accessories.

I can't speak of the durability of this flash yet, but I have racked up 100 hours of use, several hours a night for four nights a week. The controls and display are easy to read and easy to use. I use 2400mah rechargeable NiMH batteries in this and I've yet to drain the batteries. Usually 100-200 flashes per night, but several hours of idle time (it goes into sleep mode just like the camera does). I just recharged my AA batteries when I recharged my cameras batteries. The e-ttl works just great on both of my Canon full frame cameras. Manual and strobe modes are great too. The zoom appears to work fine, and the built in diffuser and reflector are nice. I use this as a bounce flash constantly, and have even used it as a slave flash for a few things. Compared to my big name flash, this is quite comparable, and an incredible value. The articulation points (where you turn it to bounce) don't feel as solid as my big name flash, but honestly at 30% of the price, I'd be happy to buy two more of these before I bought another one of the big name flashes.

I am highly impressed with this flash so far. I own a Canon 580II but wanted a flash for second body and something that would provide some decent functionality but I didn't want to spend $250 for the Canon 430II. This Neewer NW-670 appears to be the answer at an unbelievable price too, just $49! I've shot a couple hundred pics with the flash on both my 7D and 1DS mk III and the results are pretty amazing. The build quality is fairly solid as well. Here is a better breakdown of the features:* Yes it really is E-TTL II* Wireless trigger (IR) on the side of the body* External battery pack compatible* PC sync port* Relatively fast recycle time * LCD display* Metal hot shoe* Front and Rear curtain sync* Memory settings* Projected focusing grid (assists focusing in dark conditions)* Power Zoom head 24-105 (little noisy)* The case is nothing to brag about, it's a cheap nylon bag with a draw string* Solid construction and shockingly good build quality* The head does not lock but the click-to-set is stout enough.I plan to use this over the holiday this weekend and will report back on its performance.
