I was looking for a tripod that reached a decent height, didn't weigh a lot and had an Arca Swiss type ball head and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I bought a K&F Concept but wasn't impressed with it. So I ordered this Neewer and it's light years better. Not quite as tall and weighs a bit more, but it's worth the sacrifice.I especially like that it comes with two center posts, a short and long. Very high quality. My only complaint is the leg angle adjustment isn't as easy to use as some.

Highly recommend this tripod. Lightweight but stable. Has screw holes for accessories to be added. I leave it out overnight in the wind and it stays stable and my photos stay lined up. This is small and co pact when folded up and travels well. I have taken on vacation/flying.

I don't know where to start with this thing. I gave it 5 stars because it's light enough for an Aluminum body. The head is very solid and the ball on it is pretty big and easy to set to what ever angle you want.Definitely a step up from the cheaper tripods I have owned. The legs look solid and you can put the shaft so the camera hangs on the bottom. It does come with a second shaft that if you wanted you could put a different head on it which is good if you have different purposes for your tripod.Accessories that it came with are a Cell phone mount. It's not a bad mount for a cell phone like you wouldn't NEED to buy a Cell mount if you buy this. It also came with the plate that isn't super large but it was metal probably some kind of aluminum alloy. The arca Swiss mounting is probably the most common so it's not hard to find somehting that is better for you if you don't like the bare minimum of a plate that they supplied with this. The leaver locks on the legs are plastic... They don't look overly flimsy but they are plastic so probably will break eventually or will be the failure point. It's a one hand operation to open the leavers so pretty simple that way.The legs can be set to a lot of different angles if you are into that kind of thing. They move really smoothly too. So when you open the leaver locks the legs will go down by themselves when it's new... Probably won't with grime in them...

I was surprised and pleased with the quality and functionality of this tripod. It was reasonably priced, so I bought it as a lightweight tripod for the backpack or the trunk. It turned out to be quite well-made, with a decent ball head, good leg clamps and all the expected accessories. It was a great choice, and I don't expect I could have done much better short of carbon-fiber tripods at several times the cost.

Lightweight, inexpensive, easy to throw into car. Lacks ease of adjustments found in more expensive tripods I’ve owned. (No rack and pinion on stem, no twist lock handle for camera position, etc.)But a nice tripod for casual use, and can easily invert stem and shoot down for closeups.

I've always used a Manfroto 290. It's been a tank. But it is a bit bulky and heavy, so I wanted to grab something for travel. This is smaller and lighter while still feeling pretty solid with a Canon 6D and various L lenses. The ball head is smooth and and locking mechanism feels sturdy. However, the legs and leg locks just feel kind of cheap. The plastic has a cheaper more brittle feel to it. Locking the leg into a position yields more of an aggressive snap. And while adjusting leg height, there is a lot of slop.If I was looking for a travel tripod for more extensive traveling/photography I'd likely look elsewhere. But for slightly less bulky tripod for occasional use, this isn't a bad one.

Hi I really love this product. Love the size, love the weight, color, look and attention to detail this product has. So why am I returning this? Simple!… it won’t hold the weight of my camera and lens. This claims to hold 22lbs in the description, and to their credit, it absolutely does hold the weight, but the issue is only if your camera and lens are balanced! A huge part of the issue for me was that my camera, lenses and teleprompter are all front heavy. Even with the plate Tightened as much as possible, the ball head would still lean forward. If you have a front heavy lens (or teleprompter) this is a problem. This will cause it to lean forward and did for me. I would love to keep this as a backup, but after heavy consideration, the only times I now use a tripod is for video work. I do NOT use a tripod any other time and if I’m not able to trust my front heavy lenses on this camera without fear of it tipping over, or have my teleprompter on with my camera attached without being concerned that it’s too lose or becomes lose, At the base plate, It’s not an ideal solution. I need a video camera based tripod (which is what I’m exchanging this for). I’m saying all of this so everyone looking at this as an option understands that this may not be a viable solution for them.
