Works well, but beware losing the USB to barrel plug connector - it fits standard 12v plugs for astrophotography, and mixing them up seems like it could cause serious problems!

I have used it extensively for the first time today with my Sony ZV-E10 and it works! I powered the camera with an old ANKER powerbank which seemed to have no trouble at all to power it, after 5 hours of filming the ANKER just dropped one dot (of 5 or so) So you can go on for hours!! Just what I needed!

Fonctionne très bien avec mon Sony zve10Je le recommande que ce soit avec une batterie externe ou directement sur secteur.Cela augmente considérablement l’autonomie de mon appareil.

I bought this to live stream with my Sony a6500. It works really well, except that sometimes the battery is just a LITTLE loose and it resets all of the date information on my camera. Not every time, but sometimes. Otherwise, this is the only way to have the camera rolling for hours at a time. I wouldn't use it for actual shootings just in cases because you can corrupt your entire video shoot. But for something where I'm not recording in body, this is great.

None of my NP-FW50 batteries were lasting more than a half hour, especially in chilly weather.Just used this adapter yesterday with a 10,000 mAH Anker battery pack and the camera was still running strong after 7 hours. Pretty excited to finally have a way to set this camera up as a wildlife trap camera!

I purchased two of these to help with keeping an a6500 & a6300 cool during long video shoots. When testing with the a6500, I managed over an hour of 4k video. Additionally, these are each powered by an Anker battery pack.

Works well using a Sony A6000 powered by a Celestron Powertank Pro external batter using 5V/2A USB output.A note on other comments: like some people, I noticed a quick drop in estimated power remaining when beginning; started at 99% and dropped about a percent per minute. But once it reached ~77% it just stayed there for hours - took thousands of photos, once every 15 seconds, for over 12 hours, monitor on, and it never dropped below 76% the entire time. I believe this is because of the way the Sony estimates power, using voltage; this is a tricky approach, Sony batteries typically begin a charge with ~7.5 volts and fall off to maybe 3 volts during use. The 5V USB output makes the camera think it's got a battery that's partially depleted, but there is still plenty of power to run the camera. The rapid drop was alarming at first, but it isn't something to worry about. I believe this is normal with USB-supplied power due to the "low" voltage the camera sees.

Not much to say here. This just does what it's supposed to do, which is nice. It's a replacement for the battery that lets you plug your Sony camera into wall power or a portable battery bank. It can also help take battery heat away from the camera, making it less likely to overheat. It works perfectly, which is all that matters.
