I trust Neewer as a top brand when it comes to third-party accessories, and I usually get their camera grips because they fit the camera body well. This grip for the 6D2 was no exception. It fits the camera well and compliments the lines, has a spot for the camera door to sit in, so you don't have to keep track of where it is, and it holds two batteries, which effectively double your battery life.The rubberized grip feels pleasant and doesn't leave any black smudge on my fingers, unlike a different brand I tried before and returned because of a weird oil-smelly and greasy feeling. There are also buttons on the grip that correspond with the thumb buttons on the body, so you can make adjustments on the fly even when using the camera vertically.I prefer shooting longer shots with cameras that have a grip. I think the extra weight on the camera body makes the camera more stable, and when I am doing video and its hand held, I think I get smoother motion in my videos as well. Extra battery life comes in handy for video as well.

This has made shooting vertically much more comfortable. Grip feels secure when connected to camera. It adds just enough real estate to shoot comfortably in both orientations. Its an good alternative to OEM but it does feel a bit cheap in terms of construction.

When it comes to third party gear for my Canon camera I tend to get a lot of Neewer accessories— they are very good quality and reliable. But they cost much less than the official Canon accessories. This battery grip is a prime example of that. It’s very identical to the OEM— you probably can’t even tell them apart, and it has all the functionality you need. I like having battery grips to hold an extra battery (it holds 2) and I never run out of juice on a photoshoot. It does add some weight having the grip plus an extra battery but I think it’s a good trade off for the extended battery life as well as the added comfort— it gives a bit more room to grab the camera around the bottom, and if you shoot vertical it’s a game changer.All grips are pricey but this one isn’t too costly and you get great quality. I highly recommend it!

For the price, this is hard to beat. It holds batteries, the camera controls work, and the grip texture is pretty close to the OEM.It is not weather sealed and it does not feel very rugged. I imagine that with heavy use, this would not last as long as Canon's version.However, for the cost, it is absolutely worth it, especially if you take extra care with it.

This battery grip fits the 6DMK2 perfectly and works. The grip buttons wrk with no issue and the grip has a rubberized texture to match the camera. The plastic portion kind of feels like sandpaper, not sure if that is just the unit I got or if that is on all of them. It does help your grip but feels a bit odd. Overall it feels like it was made by Canon and fits snug and holds two batteries and most importantly, it works.

I really liked this Grip, super resistant and worked perfectly on my DSLR 6D mark II, the rubber to hold is very resistant and makes it firm in the hands. I really recommend this product to professionals who seek quality.Great cost X Benefit!

Fits the Canon 6D Mark II perfectly. At first on installation it was not triggering the power switch at the battery door. I removed and reinstalled with success. This does add a considerable amount of weight and bulk to the camera. I shoot product photos and videos mostly on a tripod so that’s not an issue for me. I do find the camera is actually more stable hand held with the added weigh. I don’t shoot a lot of vertical images so the benefit for me is the added battery. I’ve used similar grips that included an interval timer although this one does not. The on-off switch on the grip does not control the power to the camera only the ability to use the switches on the grip which is nice to shut them off when not needed. I also like the secure storage for the camera battery door that has to be removed from the camera before installing the battery grip. This keeps it in a convenient safe resting place for quick reinstall when removing the grip. I will not used this for daily shooting only on on days that I’m shooting remotely. This is a well made grip and definitely worth the price.

not really a lot to say apart from it does what it should do. It attaches securely and offers a few buttons on the holster which my camera would allow me to program if I wanted to. The grip itself is grippy and allows me to hold the camera firmly. Well worth the money for the extra battery life. I photograph for my local football club so my camera is on and in action for at least 4 1/2 hrs in cold conditions. This allows me to double up the battery and I am not in danger or running out of juice :-)
