I've ordered quite a few spacers on Amazon and these are the best quality to date. Virtually none of the others I've purchased have a matte finish on the inside and many permanently seize together because the thread quality is so poor. I'm very impressed with these and will order M48 sizes if I can find them.

If you are using DSLRs for astrophotography like me, then you often need to wonder what is the right focal length of the scope at a given point and adjust the imaging device with precision before taking the shots. I used this T2 extension kit, and my observations are -* it has handy sizes (5/10/15/20) to build various lengths needed to adjust the scope. I particularly like the 5mm one as I often need a little more, and it was very useful.* the T2 extension units are well coated and I didn't see any bad reflection, even for bright objects like the moon.* each unit is precisely milled, and the threads stayed intact after repeated use.Overall, I'd recommend using the T2 extension kit for the quality and the price.

These adapter rings are of course meant to extend the distance between a camera and a telescope as part of an adapter system, and they won't function as a method to attach a camera to a telescope on their own. If you don't already have an adapter ring specific to your camera and an eyepiece adapter for the telescope, these won't do you much good, but if you have those already, these are great. They will provide minute changes in focal length so you can get just the right distance between your camera and the telescope. I haven't figured that part out yet because it's just been too cold to stand outside and fidget, but suffice it to say that these rings do exactly what they say. I would recommend getting these and another adapter set that has different focal lengths so you can really play around and find the exact distance you need for your telescope. This set will provide excellent results on its own, however. I can easily recommend it.

This is my first foray with an extension tube, or trying my camera with a telescope, so I was delighted by the nice quality of these pieces, they are well made with good threads for connecting them, and exactly as described in the blurb.I’m looking forward to using these.

This is the best lens accessory for the price. These tubes work perfectly with my telescope and can create long exposure shots and multiple shots with the same lens. Not a lot to say about simple machined aluminum tubes, but these are well made. Each of the four tubes was within 0.2 mm of the stated length. The tubes are well machined, all of the threads are clean and work cleanly. I tested it with another T2 adapter and all the pieces screwed together flawlessly. The interior of the tubes is also machined with ribbing and coated with matte black to prevent light bounces, exactly what you would want. The kit even comes with a lens cloth, which is a nice bonus since there are no lenses. Overall good stuff.

This set of T2 or M42 extensions seems to be of a higher quality when compared to another similarly priced set that I recently reviewed. I can recommend this set as a good value.Millimeter lengths are marked on the individual rings. The mating of the male and female threads is precise without excessive slop or tightness. And unlike some other extensions that I own the internal reflections on this Neewer set are minimized by having both threaded grooves and what appears to be a post-anodizing coating to further blacken the interior. Others that have only the somewhat shiny matte finish of the black anodizing can be considerably more reflective.Finally, the wall thickness of the individual sections is about 3.4mm, which is a little thicker than others in my collection. I consider this a good thing when thinking about the loads that are sometimes hanging on these tubes.I have several other Neewer products and I've been pretty happy with the value, and this set of T2 extension tubes is no exception.
