It's is phenomenal. Highly recommend it. I would suggest to get another phone holder to go with it since the spring loaded one is meh. Other than that, great.

Unfortunately, the joints are locked in place using a bolt. I often find myself loosening all three joints to position the arm properly. This is more of an inconvenient remark, however. The tradeoff is that the arm is very sturdy. The clamp is nice and optional flat clamps at the ends so that the arm can be mounted on both pipes and edges. There is an attachable phone clamp as well which I am using in a weird setup. I am hanging my wireless charging stand on the phone clamp to allow me to easily mount and charge my phone while I am in bed.

This is a first class product. The connections are easy to adjust. And when tightened the joints are rock solid. Works great with my DJi gimbal.I bought two and combined them to make a longer version.

I love this Magic Arm because it has a variety of joints for you to bend, angle, and position your phone EXACTLY where you want it. Easy to use and tighten. Final result is sturdy with great extension!

Another handy addition to the tool kit. I have a few tripod setups with arms, that achieve a similar effect, but this kind of does what they do as far as the angles I want to achieve, but this is smaller and easier to pack up, and because of the clamp mount - doesn't require additional weights for stabilizing. Overall, this trims some bulk and some weight from the bag while accomplishing the same effect. Feels well made. It's quite stable for the most part, but due to a stubborn joint near the base that refuses to stay tightened, mine does have a little bit of wobble at that one spot. Once I've set my angle, it doesn't really have any impact, but it does require a little extra step in finding my angle since I can't simply position it to where I want it to be, I have to position it and factor in the offset that is going to occur when it inevitably loosens and slumps a little. So I kind of have to force it to reach that point to see where it is actually going to rest.Likes:- A good range of customizability in the positioning, which really helps with getting the desired angle.- Easy to adjust and articulate to the desired position.- Fairly sturdy for the most part.- A lot smaller and easier to pack up than some of my other tripod based mounts that essentially achieve the same thing.Dislikes:- Mostly sturdy, but one of the bottom joints refuses to stay tightened. Repeatedly comes loose and so I end up with a bit of wobble.

The Neewer is a very interesting clamping mobile phone holder arm. I have never seen anything like it before. It is not typical of most desk mountable arms as each link in the Neewer arm can rotate freely in two joints. Other arms I have seen can only rotate at a single joint per link, and the rotation is only along one axis. The free rotation of the Neewer allows you to put the arm in almost any position, only really limited by its length. I got the 22" but if I could order another, I would go for the 30" arm. A longer one would allow the arm to be configured to reach more positions, for an arm that already has infinite adjustments!Firstly, the Neewer arm build quality is fantastic. It is built using a lot of metal, but does use good quality plastics for the joint clamps.. The rods of the arms are all covered with foam, which was a nice touch I thought. The arm is super flexible and can fold up in a very compact form factor. I would say if you travel the 22" is very compact to carry with you. I do have one recommendation. Clamp the arm to a surface first and then adjust the rest of the arm to get the mobile phone to where you need it to be. Once you loosen that single screw both sides of the joint can freely rotate on their respective ball joint so it's easier to manage when the base is fixed to something. I do have to say I like the size of the thumb holds for the screws. They are large to comfortably turn. The desk clamp can open to approximately 2 inches wide. However, the base clamp , while there is a hard rubber pad on the clamp, is very small. On the other end there is a 1/4" screw mount, and a spring loaded phone mount is included that can screw on here. The mount is all plastic and is not the easiest to open up as there are no real finger holds. There is hard rubber on the clamps as well here but I found them too hard and it put some scuff on my iPhone case when sliding the phone on/off. I do wish Neewer used a softer material here that touches your phone. As a plus though the phone mount has a cold shoe on one side and a 1/4" screw hole on the other side to mount accessories, such a microphone and light. It really makes it perfect for podcasting, etc.To summarize some of the PROs and CONs of the Neewer Magic Arm:PROs:- Super flexible! You can position it almost anyway you want/need with its double ball joint at every link design.- Great build materials and quality. Use of metal, foam and high quality plastics.- Thumb screws come with large wings so they are super easy to turn.- Desk clamp can open up to 2 inches- Phone mount has a cold shoe and a 1/4" standard threaded hole to mount accessories.CONs:- The desk mount clamps have a very small surface area. May make impressions on some surface materials if tightened too much.- Phone mount clamps use hard plastics and also have small surface area touching the phone. With sliding the phone on or off the mount it put some minor scuffs onto my phone case.- No finger-holds on the phone mount to easily open the spring loaded compression clamp.- 22" version is good for travel but the 30" offers more flexibility, in terms of positioning.- There is an included Allen key but no instructions on why or where to use it.The Neewer products don't tend to disappoint, and the Magic Arm is no exception. I know I am getting great quality always (this is my 4th product from them). I only deducted one star for the phone mount as it is hard to open/close without possibly scuffing your phone case due to the hard rubber used in the clamp. Just take it out slowly to avoid this. There are better mounts out there and is something I may replace in the future. The arm itself is fantastic though, and I love that it can bend in infinite ways!

It features both a tripod screw and a clamp option for versatile mounting, along with a cold shoe slot on the bracket for added accessories. The stand’s adjustable jaw allows it to be easily mounted on flat or cylindrical surfaces.Overall, it is a fantastic, well-built mount offering reliability and adaptability.

The clamp has flat pieces so you can clamp it to a desk/table, and they swing out of the way to a rounded claw with rubber contacts so you can attach it to rounded objects securely as well. Each joint has its own tightening handle so you can adjust them individually while keeping the others secure. The default attachment is a standard camera/tripod thread so it worked with both my computer webcam and a digital SLR. The box also included a spring-loaded camera mount so you can use a phone or anything else flat up to ~3.5" in width. For video calls/streaming/recording, this is a great way to get all kinds of useful angles without needinga larger surface for a tripod, and it collapses down for easy storage/travel.

This arm has a lt of articulation and locks into place very well. The versatility and articulation of this arm is where it shines. It is on the smaller side at 22" but this also means it can get into some tight spots and still not be in the way. I reccommend this item.

This adjustable arm instantly solved a big problem I've been having with on-line meetings - I have double-monitors on a sit-stand desk, and often need to reference smallish screen details while having a conversation. My camera was mounted to the top of my monitor, and I found myself either keeping the screens unnaturally low so I could be at eye height for the meeting, or having the camera shoot the top of my head so I could make out screen details. This unit lets me position the camera anywhere and at any angle I want almost instantly. I'm still practicing the best position for my purposes, but if this won't solve the problem, it's not solvable. As far as the unit goes, it has 3 sets of really clever knobs that allow you to position each segment pretty well anywhere in 3 dimensional space with the twist of a knob. The bottom clipped onto my desk very firmly, and the top mounted to my camera with no fiddling. This is a very well made camera stand, and should last for a long time. Highly recommended for office or home.

I was tired of makeshift stands for my iphone when I record in first person assembling or showing 3d prints. This is a perfect addition. I have a magsafe tripod mount for it. I'm done searching for a solution, this is exactly what I needed.
