I requested this primarily to have some more batteries. I have a monitor and two led panels that function with these, so I can't get enough.The batteries hold their charge well, allowing me to get some work done without worrying (too much). The charger does a decent job . . . it is really an overnight chore.I have another charger from Neewer which is a 2 amp, and it has four bays, and while it takes overnight, at least I am only using one charger. That is important to me, because if you are doing any production work, in all likelihod you are going to have at least two, possibly 4, 6, or even 8 batteries on rotation depending on your equipment. So having a closet full of chargers is not ideal . . . but today it seems everytime you buy something, . . . another charger. At present, I favor using this along with the 4 bay unit. Together, they keep me going.This comes with a 20w power adapter which allows for usb charging also. A nice touch and appreciated.I am not sure about the price for this. It takes long enough that you aren't going to be sitting about watching it charge, you will most likely be sleeping . . . so the added speed, whilst a welcome feature, is not exactly earthshaking.It is decently priced, and if you are going to get by with maybe just 2 or 3 or 4 batteries, this makes a lot of sense.It is well made, and seems like it will last. I recommend it, but it might not be my first choice.

For not being expensive Sony batteries, I'm very pleased with these Neewers. I picked them up to run some LED panel lights when plugging into an outlet isn't an option, or for my off camera monitor. I haven't used them a ton, but the times that I have, they have done exactly what I need them to do. It's a bit hard to judge the life of them when running lights, because it all depends on how bright you are running them. I wasn't looking to spend $400 for some more Sony's, so I took a shot and picked these up, and I'm very happy with them.

Charger works great, definitely charges faster than the normal USB chargers. It’s nice that it comes with the full-sized npf 970 batteries as it’s always good to have extra ones of those around for lights and monitors. not sure if it’s quite worth the price tag though. It charges one battery fast, but cuts the charging time almost in half when you add a second battery. I have a regular npf charger that charges one battery noticeably faster and doesn’t slow down when you add a second battery.🤷🏽It is nice though to have the USB C charging port. That way, if you don’t have access to the fast wall charger, you can use a USB battery pack or a different usb wall charger as a backup, though the charging time might take longer.

Besides this set being quite heavy for obvious reasons it brings the modern tech of PD charging to batteries and it mostly works. I tried testing against my old standard charger that did not advertise PD and it was noiteceably faster. Other big plus is it is quite a large capacity so i found use on my lights was quite good.Overall a very useful set of light batteries.

I like that this comes with a 20W USB-C power adapter to power the charger (I've got another brand of battery charger that didn't), and the simple but easy to read LCD displays (that other one I have has a cryptic blinking LED). What is a bit frustrating is that this charger, like others in it's class, charges a 1/3d slower if you are charging two batteries at once.Neewer products frequently go on sale, so I'd keep an eye out for a good sale if you may be interested in this set of batteries and charger.

NEEWER 10050mAh NP-F970 Battery with 20W PD Fast Charger Set, 2 Pack Replacement Battery for NP-F970/950/750/550This 10050mAh 2 pack with charger and AC adapter represents great value.- At 10050mAh, these are high capacity NP-F batteries- The fit in my NEEWER LED lights is spot on as you'd expect- Compared to lower capacity NP-F batteries, these are MUCH heavier but they last MUCH longer- Since I am always using these in pairs in my lights, the 2 pack makes perfect sense- The included charger, cable and adapter function similarly to other units I have including an LED showing charging statusWhen shooting remotely and without AC power, battery life means everything: These deliver. By the same token, dependability matters, too; while I haven't had these batteries long, my experience with the NEEWER brand over the course of several years is that their products are well made and reliable. In the one instance years ago where I had an issue (an issue resulting from handling that didn't likely occur at NEEWER), their support was superb nonetheless.Great value kit. Worth considering. Recommended accordingly.

This fast charger set definitely reduces the amount of time that is required for NP-F batteries to charge. Normally, the adapters we may have at home do not suffice due to their low charging speed. The included adapter is a 20W PD charger, so it's pretty fast.I recommend this if you're wanting to save up some time instead of waiting overnight after a video shooting session. On-the-spot charging could also work in case you forgot to charge your batteries.The display on the charger comes in handy because you can check whether the batteries are fully charged or not.Recommended!

The item matches the description fairly well, but at first, I was on the impression that I would get a 20W (battery) charger, but when you look closely at the description you figure out that 1.0A for each of the two 7.4V batteries get a closer match to 15W, and my measurements showed exactly that. You get a 20W (wall) charger, and a 11 W / 15 W battery charger. But the item description is detailed, and you get the expected results if you read all the details, I don't remove stars for me not reading the description, but they could specify that 20W is for the wall charger in the title.Wall Charger: This is a PD charger, it provides 9V to the included charger. When I connect a Neewer NP-F01 to it, the output is 12V at 20.9 W; thus the wall charger is really a 20W PD charger. Wall charger is ETL certified, safe for use in Canada and US.Battery charger: The charger uses 15.4W for two batteries and 11.4W for a single battery, both at 9V. This is in line with the item description. This is better than a plain 5V charger, matches the description in terms of charging time, but I found this slow for larger capacity batteries like the NP-F970.Batteries: Batteries are good, I tested them to be around 9600 mAh, which is pretty good and close enough to the specification.Final tough: This is a good set of batteries, with a useful, but not so fast charger. I would say that keeping the input below 20W would make it possible to charge them with a fast car adapter, but I won't really keep batteries connected ion my car for 10h. For faster charge, I will turn to the Neewer NP-F01, maybe I will get a second one of these.
