This is just a canvas. I would not call this a true needlepoint canvas because there are no “steps” and “poles” on this canvas. It is not woven. Just a grid. Works ok for some stitches but majority would not be possible.

This combo of tiny spaces and tight interlocking mesh is perfect for highly detailed petit point or beadwork embroidery.
