I like they are good Needle holders however they are not mayo-hegar needle holders for they do not cut. This product is false advertised.

Superior to the Olsen Hegar drivers from Pakistan I reviewed last week. Not only is the fit & finish of this Artman tool better, there's a structural advantage, IMHO, of Mayo Hagar over Olsen Hegar. Mayo stabilizes 1 arm within the other while the bypass configuration of Olsen is subject to twist & separate.

Being that it is advertised as OLSEN hegar, they aren't. These are MAYO hegar. For those that don't know, Olsen hegar contain the scissors; whereas mayo hegar do not have scissors. With that being said, the mayo hegar's are actually pretty nice and sturdy, just not what I wanted.

Just matched into OBGYN and I wanted a pair of needle drivers to practice suturing and palming while at home. These are excellent! The locking mechanism requires a moderate amount of pressure to open (unlike another pair I ordered that just fell open). The tip grabs needles perfectly.
