I placed the Necto in our Florida seasonal home where internet often fails (thank you Comcast!). The Necto was easy to set up and works via G4, independent of the internet. I can check the temperature and humidity inside the house from anywhere in the world on my iPhone. It updates the readings every 10 minutes and alarm notifications can be easily set so that I get a text notification if the temperature or the humidity reaches a certain level. This gives me peace of mind, knowing that the AC works properly in a climate where the humidity can be high and mold grows quickly. I will get a second Necto for my northern home to monitor the temperature during the winter when I am in Florida. It is a great device and G4 cellular is prepaid for two years, included in the purchase price. Also want to mention that it has an excellent antenna and works in places where the cell reception on my phone is weak (1 bar). Only suggested improvement opportunity would be having an App. So far Necto provides readings only on their website after logging in.

This temperature monitor works with Apple devices and on your cellular service so do not have to connect to WiFi or pay for any other service. Super easy to setup, just plug in. Provides peace of mind when leaving pets in your camper. Runs off camper electric, with backup batteries. Appears very accurate with both temperature and humidity. You are able to adjust sensor settings.

This is the peace of mind device I needed to make sure my dogs don't get hot in my rv while I'm at work if power goes out.I love that it's easy to setup, and it works! There's no monthly fee and you can renew for cheap after a year or two.I tested the power outage and it sent an email and text as it is intended. It did the same as well when the power was restored (plugged back in for the test).I like how small it is. I stuck it to the tile in my kitchen by my living room. Temperature reading is quite accurate too!Definitely worth the price for the peace of mind and no monthly subscription fee!

I have been researching something to be able to monitor the temperature in our camper for when our dog is inside for a small period of time while we are on the boat. I'm always worried about the what if the power goes out or if a breaker went out or anything. So when I finally found this device that required no WIFI due to where we stay does not have WIFI and the only other option would be for one of us to leave a phone behind to use as a hot spot. But this device is amazing does not require WIFI and uses Cell service which so far has been working great. We have only had it a short time so I can't give a complete review for longevity but it was great to enjoy the boat time and be able to be alerted or even sign in to the website and check in on things. The only thing I wish it had was an APP to download to access things but just save the website on your phone is just fine. I will update this review later after longer use but so far I am impressed.

Easy to setup in a couple of minutes! I purchased to leave in the camper with the dogs for peace of mind when we are gone for a few hours since a camper can heat up fast if the power goes out. Just got back from a trip and it worked great! Not only does it alert you but you can look at your dashboard on the website and see your temperature, humidity, cell signal, power status, and time it lasts checked in which is every 10 minutes.

Installed in the engine room of a 42' carver yacht..easy setup, instant connection. Device will also notify if it loses AC power....which is important for me as I have a bilge heater in my boat. Device has a battery backup so continues to work (not sure how long) if the marina loses power. Well worth the peace of mind.

Bought this for my RV so I can monitor the temps when my dogs are in it and I am not. Works great, lets you know if the power has gone out and the temp. with the monitoring included makes it so easy to use and set up
