- For the lens and filter all are very small, more patience needed on installation.

These work well, they aren't ideal but given how the O3 is setup these might be the best we're going to get without a redesign. They are metal and well built, but don't add a lot of weight. Decent setup of ones available, good for flying in super bright sun.

Updated: Two of the six filters in the case fit a little loose, I was lucky I caught it right at take off and didn’t loose it far away mid flight. Could just be the set I received but once is enough for me so I’ll be returning. Build quality still feels good, unfortunately I don’t want to be worrying about loosing one.Previous review: Nicely made filters. They fit securely on the gimbal and won’t fall off.

I have been using this filter set for my Geprc Cinebot30 since April 2024. Upon opening the set, I discovered some filters were missing. This was immediately concerning, though it wasn't critical for the shoot. I returned it and promptly received a new kit with the correct components.However, I must highlight, the filters rely heavily on the O3 camera's notches for security. One moderate crash and the lens is lost. I already misplaced my CPL filter during a backyard flight; it hit the grass and is now lost, possibly forever. There needs to be a better way to ensure the filters stay securely in place.Additionally, claims of water and dust resistance are unfounded. Flying on a misty day left the filters covered in water, which necessitated manual cleaning. Dust also accumulates easily on the filter and camera itself. There is no simple mechanism to secure the filter close to the camera, which is problematic.Despite these issues, the filters perform well with no color shift in the image and performs as intended (as long as you fly in good conditions).

I have not been able to get to my office to try these with the Avata but I did put them in front of my Mini 4 Pro and Mini 1 and on both they worked as expected. Things are clear and had little to no difference from my mini filters. Will get in to the office next week and will update on how well they stay on the Avata. The quality of the filter is top notch.

Filters for the O3 Air unit are almost necessary while flying FPV drones. First, they protect the air unit’s lens in case you crash, and it takes the brunt. Second, they cut the glare when flying in bright environments. I often fly in the mountains, and the sun can be extremely bright, especially in the wintertime when there’s a lot of snow.This lens kit is comprehensive; there are four ND filters, a CPL filter if you have a lot of reflective light, and a clear UV filter. The filters have metal housings, and the glass seems sufficiently thick. I’m unsure if it’s impact-resistant glass, but it seems similar to other brand filters I own. The housing is a little more lightweight. A small notch on the bottom of the filter fits into the O3 lens housing and the cutout for the top. I’ve had similar ones with the cutout on both the top and bottom. I’m unsure if the lack of another cutout for the bottom will increase the chance of the lens falling off. I tested it on my whoop, and it stayed on, even with a semi-regal landing and once running into tree limbs.

I almost lost a filter after a crash. I thought it was on securely. I tested the fit by pulling on it a little, seemed fine. Later i had a minor crash and realized i had lost the UV filter. Luckily i was in my yard and was able to find it. When i found it i noticed that the lens itself was popping out of the housing. It wasn't a hard crash. I returned these so i could try another brand. Falling off my drone and popping out of its own housing is unacceptable. I'm just glad i was able to find it so i could return it.
