I bought this because I needed to reach an upper deck in my shed, and I'm over 200 pounds. It works great in that regards and seems solidly built. I never installed the handguards to save for folded space tho.

I am old enough that I shouldn't be getting on ladders, but sometimes you have to.i feel safe on this ladderIt feels very solid, and the side bars let you pull yourself up and east yourself down safely. The lean bar at the top is great and the top shelf has indentations to hold cans of liquid securely. My balance is very poor but I feel the features on this ladder make it as safe as one can be. The side bars do not fold so it does not get completely flat, but I tried the ones that did fold down and they felt very unsteady. Get this one, it the same model made by someone else. Lots of vendors sell them

This is the best fit for my needs - a good, sturdy stepstool, wide steps for security and folds flatter to slide into the space I have. Highly recommend!

Very sturdy ladder.Flat steps are much appreciated by feet rather than that 2 inch wide steps for aluminum ladder.The handles and top flap are optional which makes it very convenient. For the projects where I need it, I can connect them else just save space during storage or while transporting in the car.The top step locking mechanism could have been better. A bit hard to pull sometimes.The rubber caution came along got a bit messed up due to the strap too hard on it.Overall - very happy with the product, especially for the price I paid.
