Bought this for my son. He says it really does block out the wind and is warm. I'd size down bc it does run big. He typically wears a medium and I bought him a medium but he could have actually fit a small better.

Great fit, extremely warm, really good wind resistance. Pockets have strong zippers, lightweight fabric. The most utilitarian jacket I own, exactly what I needed. Feels durable after multiple wears. I'm going to purchase a couple more colors in the future.

The look is ok but definitely has a few drawbacks. Firstly i've been a medium fit for years, all brands...never have i been a small. This jacket was way larger than what a med should be. To me a tactical hoodie should have a cuff or some kind of way to tighten the sleevese and be fairly form fitting this coat is not. The picture in the ad looks great but a actual produce isn't the same. But don't get me wrong for the price...if you remember that it fits big and manage to get the proper fit and don't care about some of the quality trim features a higher priced jacket would have then this is probably fine. Having said that i returned mine.

this jacket is warm and comfy. it does do a decent job slowing down, but not stopping the breeze from blowing through you. .... however the zipper is a bit touchy. right out of the bag, when i tried it on, the bottom zipper peeled apart as if it were broken. i had to zip it down and try again. i thought i would be returning this before even getting to try it in the elements.after the first try it seemed to be ok. albeit still a hassle to get started.it has several pockets which i like. the wife seems to like the rear back zipper pockets to warm her hands when we're out and about. the hood on the other hand, nice to have but there is no velcro tab or retainer tab to hold it in place when you roll it up. either than that, its a decent jacket for mild temps. which for me is down to about 35.

Nice color, fits fine, warmer than a most sweatshirts BUT pockets are placed too high, almost at chest level rather than closer to the hips so it's uncomfortable to keep your hands in the pockets for any length of time. Also placing something like gloves or a wallet and/or keys in them both feels uncomfortable and looks bulky. There are not enough other usable pockets as well and only one awkward one inside. Finally, there's a totally useless pocket on the rear of the jacket, impossible to reach or use unless one removes the jacket. Lastly, the zipper has a double pull thingy which makes fastening and unfastening the zipper more difficult than it should be.

I've spent 20 minutes trying to zip this thing up and it just won't catch right, keeps getting snagged and dragging one side of the jacket up with it, or it zips in reverse where trying to zip it up actually undoes it, but going down works but makes it difficult to take off without damaging it. Honestly I want my money back or just a version of this with a regular zipper that actually works. Sucks because outside of that it seemed like a nice jacket and even fit perfectly, but without a proper zipper what's the point?

Bought this cause I won't spend what they want for a baerskin lol, this is a nice substitute, plenty of pockets, warm and comfortable, and has a drawstring for the waist. Does allow wind through the fleece,but not as bad as other fleeces I've owned. The "bill" on the hood doesn't really help to block anything but does add to the look. All in all, still a nice zip up fleece for the price.

I do a lot of dog walks in daylight and night. This jacket is really great at keeping me warm and comfortable with a light long sleeved shirt under it down to about 40oF. It keeps the wind off perfectly and the sleeves reach down to my knuckles to aid in keeping my hands warm. The pen holder on the sleeve is a handy place to have a pen size flashlight for evening walks. The bicep positioned zipper pockets are perfect for a phone or a set of glasses. The whole jacket is well setup and has a lot of storage which is perfect for hiking.I have worn this in cold temperatures and in lite rain situations where I was able to stay warm and dry. It is not designed to be water proof but it deals with water much like wool. It works great.If it gets below freezing, you can wear it under another coat for layering which will keep you very warm.My only gripe is that the thumb holes on the sleeves are small. For an average male they are not long enough. I plan to adjust this myself at some point.But for anyone looking for a solid fall/late fall jacket, this is a win.

I really liked this jacket when I first got it the fit was great I like the colour all the pockets were large. After the first day of use there was a lot of threads that kept coming out. By the end of the week the zipper started to break. I sent it back.

Love these, have 2 now, one black, one green.One set of pockets are higher up on the chest, so if you wear bibs, you can still get to those pockets easily.Love the hood with the peak as well.Im 6’4” one the larger side, ordered the 3xl (my usual size) and they fit as they should.
