This was a gift for a little girl who collects gems and jewels. She was keeping them in a cardboard box so when she opened the gift and found the classic treasure chest she was excited! It is well built and heavy. A great addition to any collection.

Real wood small chest with nice metal accents, hinges and an old looking lock.Lock does work with the provided keys.Chest is stained outside and inside.

Perfect size chest to sue for child buried treasure quest. Nephew is very into pirates so when he opened this chest filled with quarters/dimes/ dollar coins that I filled it with, he thought he was ecstatic. He begs his dad to bury the chest in the backyard and make him a map just so he can find his treasure again

Great little chest but the lock will not fit into the latch. The latch seems to be folded just off from where it should so the hole is not quite large enough to slide in through. Hoping to be able to use a dremel to make the hole a bit larger so we can use it for a treasure hunt.

It's functional the metal trim isn't well placed/ uneven, and loose in spots. It's ok for the price. The box is solid and functioning well.

This isn't really that big so make sure you look CLOSELY at the size dimensions but for what it is, it works and looks GREAT. When you see it more up-close the realistic aspects do fade a bit however it is still a pretty good quality. The lock and key is a nice touch and does give it a more AUTHENTIC feel. Beyond that it serves its purpose as a decor piece and storage, so I am quite happy with it.

I wrote a review that I was disappointed because the lock and key was missing. I contacted the company and those missing items were sent out immediately. My granddaughter loves the chest. It was just what she wanted. It's perfect and made solid. She loves that her sister can't get into her personal treasures. I am happy say the chest is great keepsake.
