This “Underwater Seascooter” is so cool. To be totally transparent, it was January when I got this and the beaches and my pool will not be open for months. So, I decided to do a detailed inspection of all parts and conduct several air runs to test how well this worked. I am totally impressed. Here’s why:• This seascooter came so well packed that I believe it would be nearly impossible to damage this during shipping.• I love that this folds up into a more compact, easy to carry unit. With the battery it is not light, but it is not awkward to carry.• Every component, switch, panel, button, latches, propellers, and every other part I could examine was quality constructed and fit perfectly.• The plastics used are high-end plastic that will be quite durable.• The battery for this seascooter is removable and comes with a unique plug-in charger that only fits the battery one way, so there should not be any mistakes. I also noticed that it charges the battery fast.• This has an air-safety feature that shuts the unit off in three seconds if you try to operate it in the air. This seascooter is intended to only work in water. I did however, test this several times in the air and each time it shut off exactly at three seconds. This speaks about the quality of the electronics and safety features.• In my multiple short air tests, I noticed how efficient the propellers / fans worked. These were amazingly quiet considering that I was running these in the air. These propellers / fans put out a high volume of forceful air. I can only imagine how well this will work in the water as intended.In my dry inspection and tests I could not find a single thing that seemed like a shortcut, or a compromise. Every aspect of this seascooter was well designed and executed. This is an impressive item. I can’t wait for summer.
