The seeds were planted in mid July (2024) and even with the very hot summer months were able to grow and come to bloom in 7 weeks. I have planted seeds from this package (2oz) in six different locations and all of them are doing great. These have turned out to be really great seeds for growing a variety of sunflowers and most of all the bees are coming to them and that's the reason they're planted.

I decided that this Spring I would try my hand at growing sunflowers. I amended my soil with organic material where I wanted to plant the seeds in my front yard. It is a small space and found some sunny spots that I thought would work. So it's been about a couple of months now and I am very very happy. I have blooms coming in now. I love the variety. They are gorgeous! There are some that have stalks that are really tall and the blooms are not ready yet. When those have blooms I will update my review with pics. I also planted a few seeds in the backyard and will get pics when the blooms are out.

What I really wanted for this review was a 3.5. They're better than a 3, but not quite a 4. We've been growing our sunflowers for a few years, unfortunately our seeds were destroyed by improper storage so I bought these at the last minute. I had high expectations, and initially I was happy. I overplanted, and most of the seeds came up. Despite the overcrowding, they're growing well and making some nice flowers.... If all you want are yellow flowers. We have bright yellow with black center, medium yellow with yellow center, and pale yellow with a matching center. Zero reds, blacks, or anything other than yellow varieties. My wife is the sunflower lover and was looking forward to a variety like we've had the last few years, but it appears she's not going to get it. A fair percentage are already flowered, and most of the rest are close enough that you can tell they're going to be yellow too. Good seeds, but the lack of variety is disappointing.

I planted five types of seeds in my little makeshift greenhouse and these sunflower seeds took off. They just sprouted in a couple of days. They have me really excited to see how they'll end up outside, package comes with a large variety of sunflowers seeds so seeing what evolves Will really be interesting. The price was even a fair price for what You receive in the package. I have at least 40 plants out of a handful or seeds that I just tossed in dirt and I still have a package that's full of sunflower seeds wide variety I will consider this a good purchase and I definitely will recommend it to anybody who wants to plant sunflowers. Check your weights when you purchase these items. The weight of the package is definitely significant of how much seeds you will receive I purchased five different types of seeds and there was a couple of them that had 4 to 12 seeds in the package which can be very disappointing if you have failures with your plants or kids or cats tend to get into everything.

Wasent a big deal or anything but I thought it was going to be a big bag with multiple diffent seed bags but it's just a big bag with them all mixed in. They grew awesome in mid michigan. Got some of them to grow 8-9 inches across. A really beautiful variety of flowers though I was very pleased, planning on purchasing again in the spring
