I bought several picnic backpacks to compare them. This one came out on top due to the durability, large capacity, storage compartments and features.

I don't have photos yet, will take them later.I have used the backpack once for a couple picnic and it was really useful! We were able to fit two medium bags of chips, and four cans in the bag compartment with A LOT of space left for more. The cutlery, glasses and plates are sturdy.Some other user said the cutting board was too small and that the mat is also small. I would say this is true. The mat almost fits two people on it with little space for the food and the cutting board is more of a little help than a serving board.I am not bothered by either as the bag has ample space to tie a larger mat and bring a larger board if needed.Would highly recomend as a gift for someone who loves picnics!

The Backpack Picnic product covers all the bases: strong materials, great plates, cup sand utensils accessories; deep, insulated section for cold picnic foods and ice; plus a great, detachable wine bottle holder and sturdy picnic blanket for four people in the out-of-doors. Convenient for our "concerts in the park" and snazzy looking, besides!

This picnic backpack was purchased as a gift for a wedding shower for a special couple that loves being outside in NW WI. I was so please with the quality of this item and the red and white checkered interior and napkins are whimsical and picnic perfect. Highly recommend this item for a gift or yourself!

PROS:1. Looks nice2. Comes with a set of plates/cutlery3. can fit a decent amount of food4. Extra pockets for napkins/trash bags, etc5. Bottle attachment + picnic mat6. Decent quality for amount paid7. Convenient8. Insulated main pocketCONS:1. Mat would be a bit small for four people, as it feels somewhat small for two2. The wooden board that came with the set is very small. I purchased a separate boardNot Really a Con, but should be considered2. Don't expect your plates/cutlery to take the place of a legit set of silverware and wine glasses - they are definitely plastic, but this is also better since if you put real glass in place of the plastic glasses they would surely breakUnknown:1. Did not put ice in the insulated main pocket due to other reviews, so not sure how waterproof it is2. Not sure how waterproof the mat is, seemed to work pretty well though3. Not entirely sure how insulated the main pocket is due to not using it for refrigerated goodsNotes:Personally I'd rather have more than less when it comes to food, so I ended up getting a cooler to supplement the amount I could bring. All in all the picnic worked out really nicely and my girlfriend had a great time.

This is such a wonderful Picnic Backpack for so many reasons. Maybe I'm being a little bias because I love earthly colors but the subtle grey of this back pack is very pleasing to the eye. It's a nice, neutral color, perfect for both men and women, which is highlighted by brown leather straps on the front of it to add even more flair. The main insulated compartment for the food storage is huge! It also comes with a wine storage compartment that is actually detachable from the backpack and can be used as needed. There are two separate storage compartments in the front of the backpack that you can use to put whatever you would like in them. This backpack is well constructed and has a nice layer of extra padding to rest against your back for added comfort. When you open up the backpack, it has a traditional red and white checkered design to give it that true picnic feel for both the experience and even pictures. It comes with all the essential picnic accessories you'll need like a waterproof blanket, matching napkins, cutting board, cheese knife, plates, knives and forks, wine glasses, and even a bottle and can opener. Like I said, this backpack has it all. This is truly a wonderful gift that you just don't bump into in the stores and I am so glad that my wife came across this gem on Amazon. Very Satisfied!
