Definitely give 2 days of sealing before trying to set them up, but my geckos and hermit crabs love them, textured but can easily clean with a soft wire brush, great quality, Definitely worth the money, I use these for leopard geckos and hermit crabs and all my animals love them, easy to set them up, functions for what I needed them for, does well in a humid environment

I bought a nice white magnetic mushroom off of Etsy for my on gargoyle gecko who is predominantly white. I wanted a reddish one for my other gecko who is mostly red/brown. Unfortunately, she doesn't sell other colors, but this mushroom is perfect, similar to the white one and a good size for her or a crestie/frog/etc.The lack of magnets is not an issue for me. I have created my own magnetic décor and will use MAGCRAFT® Brand Rare Earth Magnets with this. These magnets are STRONG and hold up well through terrarium glass. I will first use my Dremel to create sink holes for the magnets, probably will order the 1 inch or half inch rounds and use two on mushroom and two on outer glass. The sink holes may not be necessary but creating some grooves in the plastic for the glue to get more surface area would be a good idea. I will use Gorilla clear glue to adhere the magnets to the mushroom. Allow a few days for the glue to dry and off gas, then they are good to go. A piece of felt on the bottom of the outer magnets may be good as they magnets can fly out of your hand and clank the glass if your not careful! Definitely an excellent brand of magnets compared to Amazon sellers rare earth magnets. This combined with the price of the mushroom is not too bad compared to other magnetic mushroom ledged I have looked at.

Video shows a ledge much bigger than an adult hand and shows it has powerful magnets. Actual product is about the size of an adults hand and is attached with silicone. So there cannot currently be a living animal in the enclosure. It also needs to be secured while drying which makes everything harder. I'd return it but it's not worth my frustration so I tossed it where it belongs, in the trash.

This is pretty good, but no suction cup, the silicone takes 24hrs minimum to cure so I couldnt put it in my tank. Would be hard to clean around in a tank. Still seems like a good ledge

Its not the magnetic kind. Its the stick it with silicone to the cage. Very expensive for not magnetic. I will use but can’t wait for the magnetic ones I ordered from other seller. Seller sent promptly received on time. Just to expensive in comparison.

Thought was magnetic like some similar shelves I had. Did not realise were epoxy and would have to cure so long. Can't use them in my set ups.
