I got this bamboo scoop to fill teabags but it’s a little too wide, I can do it but it’s awkward, it’s just too big to fit the bag opening easily, I found that a metal crumb scraper worked much better for that, see pic. It does work well for narrow mouth jars though. I store my cocoa powder in a ginger jar urn, it has a narrow opening and this scoop worked great for transferring the cocoa to the urn without spilling any. It is a simple natural bamboo scoop and it’s not varnished it is bare bamboo. It is smooth, nicely contoured on the edge and well made. Not the best for filling teabags but it is great for other uses. Kind of pricey though in my opinion.

Color is a lot lighter than shown. Nice tactile feel to it. Well made. A bit pricey.

So, to begin with it is a scoop made apparently of bamboo. It's sanded well and is very smooth, feels good in your hand. It's unlikely to break with normal use even though the thickness of the material is not large. Now, for my issue. It's huge! I had the idea that it was a 'spoon' not a 'scoop', based on the description. I don't think it was intentionally misleading, just not well described. I tried to give a better idea of the actual size in my attached photos. It's definitely functional but just know that it's very large for most everyday uses.

This is a nice cha he. The wood is lovely and smooth. A lot of bamboo products are rough around the edges, but this one has been made with care. It doesn't snag my tea leaves at all. There are ridges on the inside, but they run the length of the product, making it easy to push the leaves out the open end.It holds plenty, enough for a multi-person session, but it isn't too cumbersome to use for a single-person session. At less than fifty grams, it also works well with my tea scale.Overall, I am very happy with this tea scoop/cha he.

It's a nice little bamboo tea dude. Lightweight. It's well finished, smooth, doesn't give off any splinters. Doesn't smell like anything. Great size for loose leaf, including the teas that take up more space. Haven't had any issues measuring out up to 7 grams of dancong, which is lovely. Super simple, minimal. I wish I had more to say about it though it's pretty straight-forward. I have no complaints.
