My dog doesn't get something like this all the time. I spend a ton of $$ on good dog food, I buy premium kibble, organic pumpkin, perfect poop (probiotics, prebiotics + fiber). and premium treats.I waited a few weeks till I had a chance to give him one of these. He loved it. But the next 36 hrs. he had the squirts. So I backed out of everything in his food, and introduced one item at a time to rule out everything else.IMHO the cause was Natural Farm Super Braided Collagen Dog Chews - 6 Inch.WORST PART IS, THE SLAP IN THE FACE OF NO REFUND.

It takes about 2-3 days to get through a stick. He's a Belgium Tervuren and they need to stay busy. He grabs one when his lil humans are in school and he's bored. Wish they were a lil more affordable since I'm on a fixed income, otherwise I only buy when on sale. Great lil boredom treat especially during our snow days in NC. Definitely recommend.

Dogs are loving these. They get them as a special treat when we need them occupied. Just ordered small ones for the little dogs as they were feeling pretty left out. They are spendy and I’m not sure they last much longer but the ingredients are great.

We have a golden retriever who is an aggressive chewer and we have gotten “long lasting chews” all across the board trying to find an option that keeps him occupied for a long time. Our dog also doesn’t just gnaw at a chew treat, he loves biting and swallowing chunks off, which usually makes the treat disappear much faster and more costly.These are the only chew treats we’ve found aside from cow hooves that are no-hide, no-odor and last more than 45 minutes for our dog! He instantly drools for these and it’s hard enough that he can’t bite chunks off. They last even longer than bully sticks, are cheaper and don’t smell at all.

We have two dogs. 30lbs and 65lbs.~12 inch braided pizzle sticks are gone in 30 to 90min depending on the thickness.~12 inch buffalo beef cheek rolls can survive about 8h of chewing in intervals.Our small one chews more aggressively than the large one. Chew treats that aren't braided or rolled are gone in minutes, no intervals needed.That's our baseline.The Super Braided Collagen Dog Chews are indeed a real bully sticks alternative!The size is as advertised, they smell but less intense than pizzle sticks. Their quality is great, they are smooth, tightly braided and hard.The thickness varies but that's ok.I gave two to my dogs a thinner one and a thicker one. The thinner one survived about 6h of chewing in intervals by both dogs. The thicker one is still going strong with 7 inch left after 12h of chewing in intervals also by both puppers.These sticks are the perfect middle ground between pizzle and beef cheek. They don't break like pizzle sticks often do, instead they become soft when being chewed but not as soft as beef cheek rolls. They keep their shape, they can't be unbraided until about 2inch are left.Our dogs mastered the art of deconstructing chewing treats to cut the time it takes to eat them, I am impressed.We will definitely buy again and incorporate these in our collection of different chew treats to keep the puppies entertained!

We've been buying Natural Farms bully and collagen chews for our cattle dog mix. The 12" long, thick braided collagen chews were the best way to keep him calm and occupied for a long while so he could relax with us. We would take them away once the 3 braided pieces separated from each other to prevent any choking hazards. They are expensive but worth the cost for us.Unfortunately we'll have to switch to a different company now. Twice, Natural Farms shipped the wrong product (3-6" bully sticks when I ordered the 12") and they don't do refunds or returns because it's considered a food item. And with this most recent purchase of the braided collagen chews, they have a horrible greasy stink like marrow bones. It's unfortunate because the previous versions were odorless and mess-free. But these reek something awful now.
