This is the best product anywhere to prevent algae in your pool. It literally makes it impossible for it to grow. The manufacturer says to put it in the skimmer but I just put a few capfuls in my pool every once in awhile and it works fine!

I don’t really have problems with algae, I had problems with water bugs. Come to find out, this product does something with the water surface so when the bugs come up to get air, they can’t grab an air bubble to go back down and breathe. I’ve been using this for 2 seasons and I haven’t had one water bug.
